Mentioned in top article here. They tend to tease releases for years so don't get excited yet.

Following this year's Reflection album, Brian Eno is getting into the collaborative spirit with a new album with pianist Tom Rogerson. Titled Finding Shore, the joint record is due out on December 8 via Dead Oceans. According to a press release, the pair met by chance outside a washroom at a show. It explains, "Upon meeting Eno, the pair didn't speak about music at all, but bonded over their roots in the Suffolk town of Woodbridge, located on the strange flat landscape of Eastern England, all heathland, military testing sites, estuary mud and the site of the ancient Sutton Hoo ship burial." That said, the chance meeting did eventually lead to Finding Shore, which is …

I know there's a few others on this site who follow Robert Logan, so posting his new-ish album here that came out about a month ago since I can't find it mentioned on the site. Checking it out now, so far it's got his sensibilities mixed with lotsa synth vox. https://projektrecords.bandcamp.com/album/sculptor-galaxy

Not exactly 'new', but I personally just found out about it a couple of weeks ago. I had emailed the people running the official Raymond Scott website a few times over the years, asking if they would ever do a sequel to the really good Manhattan Research compilation of Scott's electronic recordings, which was released in 2000. I started listening to that release one night and decided to send them another email. I googled then found the official site, and the contact form and sent them an email asking- not really expecting a sequel to ever be made at this point. The reply I got told me to check the site, and lo and behold the very thing I was asking about and never exp…

Some nice tunes on this wee EP released last month on Bandcamp. Vinyl was available in September I think, so not that new. Not seen it here so thought I’d pop it up on the board: http://craigieknowes.com/album/knowes-universal-broadcast-seg-3-2

So this is the first physical release I've bought in a long fkn time. tbh can't even remember the last one. It's only available as 16 CD set from Frozen Reeds had it sitting on my desk for a few weeks, and finally got around to order a USB CD drive for ripping last night, because who has a CD player these days & I wanted it on the phone and now it's in my cloud and I can listen anywhere without wires. So what is this. It is proto-elseq! but like 3 times as long, not 5 virtual discs but 16 actual ones... sound-wise, can't really say yet but apparently this is what it was made on and it sounds like it tbh.. a fkn huge labyrinth of haunted sounds…

http://lobstertheremin.com/album/endless I just got this LP and I really think it is probably the best techno released this year. It has some breakbeat elements, and a lot of crunchy elements. This track is pretty good but there a lot of better ones on it. IS GOOD...LISTEN TO IT HEHE

From the Biophon Facebook page: Upcoming releases autumn 2017: BIO7: Biosphere - Compilation 1991-2004 2xCD BIO29: Biosphere - Shenzhou 2xCD / 3xLP [with the bonus album The Samphire Tower] BIO25: Biosphere - The Hilvarenbeek Recordings [Expanded version] CD / LP. Been hoping that the compilation tracks album made it to CD so that's made me happy. Shenzhou is continuing his reissue campaign with a bonus album, so that'll be nice to add to the collection. The Hilvarenbeek Recordings was a series of pieces based on field recordings, an EP of which was unofficially released a few years ago. No release date yet.

The Neptunes return with their first new album in 7 years, from what tracks I've heard, this will be on heavy rotation in most strips clubs for 2018, lol. Skateboard P and Co. do the trap thing, with some healthy bass, and the requisite shitload of guest appearances. http://nooneeverreallydies.com/ 1. Lemon (featuring Rihanna) 2. Deep Down Body Thurst 3. Voilà (featuring Gucci Mane and Wale) 4. 1000 (featuring Future) 5. Don’t Don’t Do It! (featuring Kendrick Lamar) 6. ESP 7. Lightning Fire Magic Prayer 8. Rollinem 7's (featuring André 3000) 9. Kites (featuring Kendrick Lamar and M.I.A.) 10. Secret Life of Tigers 11. Lifting You (fea…
