One of the best ambient releases this year. Love it. “The album title is my polite way of saying we live in a world of bullshit and bullshitters. Essentially I feel we all live in a constant lie, whether it be our Facebook profile pictures, the need to present our lives as perfect, with good looking partners, intelligent children, the perfect job etc. People feel the need to present their situations as being something they're not. We all suffer. We all have setbacks and difficulties, but we live in a world where people always want to pretend everything is fine. I feel that the music provides a chance to pause and escape the illusion of the everyday lie we present not …

[youtubehd]uhBHL3v4d3I[/youtubehd] Out on November 18, a double album clocking in at 80 minutes. Not too sure what to think of the song. On one hand it sounds like a poor copy of Battery but there's a few good riffs in there. What a joke of a title though. Sounds like a forgotten Megadeth demo.

Something for those with with a musical taste for the arcane and esoteric. Jonny Trunk's ability to dig out the rarest dusty reels and DATs from the archives, basements and attics of the Radiophonic workshop's various entourage has turned up possibly his most unbelievable find yet. Delia Derbyshire and Elsa Stansfield's original electronic soundtrack to the avant-garde film Circle of Light: The Photography of Pamela Bone, directed by Anthony Roland. Circle of Light was premiered in 1972 and within three months was selected to represent Great Britain in the Art Film class at the Cork International Festival where it won first prize. Surprisingly for a film held …

https://soundcloud.com/technicolour-music/hieroglyphic-being-the-discos-of-imhotep The Disco's Of Imhotep is about creating Frequencies and Vibrations for the Listener that are conducive for him or her to Heal The Mind and Body and Enrich the Soul by creating Hemi-Synced Harmonies and music that contains embedded Binaural Beats. We have been made to believe that electronic sounds are just for Movement, Enlightenment, Primal Afflictions and Entertainment purposes, but it's much more... It's Sound Healing, but the ancestors would call it Frequency Medicine. Medicine is Healing and this project is dedicated to one of Earth's first Healers: High Priest Imhotep. "The…

4rd Armpit is the soundcloud, some of you may be familiar with it. Idk the story behind this person but he or she just put a really good album on bandcamp for a dollar. There's acid, high bpm, low bpm, lush pads. Here is the link.

He's been teasing a mixtape for a while now, and here it is. It includes a few tracks that were posted on Soundcloud previously, but this is mostly new stuff. Very atmospheric and pretty sounding as usual. Download: http://www.mediafire.com/file/3fuey34udpetawz/

From the official band page: Physicalist blends swirling arpeggios, ambient soundscapes, and driving motorik beats with free-flowing experiments on piano, flute and percussion. The first FORMA album to feature acoustic instrumentation, Physicalist owes more to American composers like Harold Budd or Terry Riley than Klaus Schulze and other Krautrock visionaries. http://www.formasounds.com/

Really, really deep sound, reverb and echo used gratuitously but meticulously. What I like about it is how it's still very much in vein of classic dub and not as rooted in dub techno. No 4/4 thud work outs but more like a take on reggae dub with focus on the method and not the source material...very little use of stereotypical Jamaican dub sound effects, instruments, vocals, etc. https://bokehversions.bandcamp.com/album/new-teeth-for-an-old-country also on Boomkat. he's put out some other great records this year too though this is the most recent and a good intro Cassette sold out though I myself found out about it after the fact as well.

H O L O V R - Anterior Space H O L O V R follows up the longform acid of his last three records with a wholly beatless ambient/acid selection. From the bandcamp: Anterior Space may strike some listeners of a certain age as an echo of the gilded age of “armchair techno” exemplified by Warp Records' Artificial Intelligence comps. There's a similar convergence of the cerebral and the blissful in the four epic compositions HOLOVR (aka Jimmy Billingham) finesses from his analog and digital synths as that found on those early-'90s pieces by Black Dog, B12, and others. Discussing the creation of Anterior Space, which is the first HOLOVR release to feature no beats, …
