Some people on WATMM don't seem to like this lady at all. I'm curious, why do people hate/dislike her? I don't really know much about her. I've heard her voice in downloaded mixes, and that's it. From that, she doesn't seem too bad. Did she fart real bad at a rephlex release party or something?

Me and my friends play this game sooooo much its sad. Fuck left for dead this is better than the whole game! although I hear LFD is coming out with downloadable version of this game(more or less the same). Farthest we've got is level 21. We've come to the conclusion you need two ray guns in order to get past 16-17. So it's basically luck later on.

http://www.news.com.au/story/0,27574,25176456-23109,00.html AN Indonesian villager had to be rushed to hospital after a horse bit off one of his testicles. The 35-year-old man was unloading sand from a horse-drawn cart at a construction site in Sulawesi earlier this week when the attack occurred, Indonesia's state-run news agency Antara reported. A witness said the animal suddenly lunged at the man, sinking its teeth into his crotch. Shocked bystanders loaded the man into a car to take him to hospital, before one noticed a piece of flesh on the pavement. "Luckily the horse did not chew up or swallow his testicle, but spit it onto the pavement," …

I've never seen him mentioned on these forums (or any IDM forums) but there's a guy called Robert Logan who I found out about on the Mary Anne Hobbs show (yeah, I know she can annoying, but I have discovered some good talent on her show.) The new one, "Inscape" isn't out yet, but I have heard "Cognessence" and it's really beautiful - it's got some Autechre-ish IDM stuff on there, but some of it sounds like nothing else I've heard, sort of haunting/harrowing Eastern dark ambient stuff. http://www.myspace.com/robertlogan Some of the most interesting "Cognessence" tracks aren't on the myspace, but it gives you an idea...

Have you guys seen it? The trailer doesn't really do the brutality of the movie justice, but I can assure all of you that it's one disturbing movie. I was told that it was more frightening/disturbing than Irréversible, but I wouldn't go as far as to compare it to Irréversible. As the trailer shows this is a horror movie and not anything like Irréversible. I don't really think you can't really compare the two even though there are a couple of similarities. Inside is more like if you took the infamous fire extinguisher scene and looped it for 80 minutes. No rape scenes - thank god! But if you're into horror movies and don't give two shits about the story (it's pur…

as i make my transition into a house husband i've become more and more adept around the kitchen, and tonight was a milesone regarding my culinary skills. fucking pan seared tuna with a cilantro-jalepeno soy glaze over wasabi mashed potatoes. and everything fucking came out restaurant quality. we were blown away, it was one of the best meals i've ever had. cilantro, lime, olive oil. garlic, ginger, soy sauce, diced jalapeno, all mixed up and poured over the seared tuna, and then gently resting that over the friggin perfect mashed potatoes with the slightest hint of wasabi heat... i'm tellin you man, this shit was over the top good. holy fuck. food boner.

I'm fucking terrified of spiders. Crane flies even more so - and some random bugs - and I always have been. Anything with long legs (except from girls) nearly always makes me leave the room. I don't know what it is about these bugs? I think it's their unpredictable moves and especially when it comes to crane flies, because those fucks have absolutely no navigational control at all which means they're likely to fly right into my face. Also the sound they make. Yuck. Here's a list of phobias with such brilliant phobias such as...Pagophobia - Fear of ice or frost. http://www.phobialist.com/

Kurious AKA Kurious Jorge

This guy released an underground album in 1994, A Constipated Monkey. It is wicked good, one of the best finds in lesser known hip hip in a while for me. Half of it is produced by The Beatnuts, so it has a wicked nice jazzy sound. Kurious can be heard further with his work with The Monster Island Czars, a underground group that got off the ground with help from MF DOOM under his King Geedorah alias. He can be heard more famously on the MF DOOM tracks, "?" off Operation: Doomsday and he provides the vocals on the King Geedorah track, Fastlane.

so this will be the third annual what is the most idm thing bracketology tourny sort of thing if we decide to go through with this. i'm sort of excited, but i just want to see if watmm is excited enough to deal with the rigorous scheudule of daily voting and arguing that has become this tournament. so if you want to see it happen again, by all means vote yes, but if you're tired of seeing that shit or just dont care, vote no. thanks either way fred

1. Fascinating Things The world is full of things, and many of them fascinate me. Here are some of the things, which I find fascinating: Mixers, Synthesizers, Computers, Drum Machines, Dishwashers, The Mechanism That Makes My Garbage Can Open When I Step On The Button, Circuits, Philosophy Exercise: Think of something you've never understood, but are nonetheless intrigued by. Then, figure out how it works. Examples: car engines, clock gears, the internet, the stock market, the circulatory system 2. Pretty Things Even if they aren't fascinating in the same way as #1, many things are just simply pretty in a way that's hard to quantify. Here are some of t…
