Anyone who knows / has access to Boxcutter's work (dubstep / grime / electro) - have a listen to "Brood" and see if you agree that most of the track was lifted from Gantz Graf. Not sure what the point of mentioning it is, but I thought the theft was blatant and beyond the normal range of sampling.

It's close to the Guitar Hero concept, but it's a puzzle-race game, wipeout-like aesthetic. You load the tune you want, wich will be used to create the circuit, so it will feet to the music. There are some videos on the web, but i thought "let's show what it looks like with electronic music stuff".

Autechre Drowned in Sound interview 1 2
by Guest Gardenia- 33 replies

http://www.drownedinsound.com/articles/2904598 Preconceptions are a curious thing, especially when it comes to fêted electronica twosome Autechre. Over a prolific 15-year-plus career, the Rochdale pioneers, Sean Booth and Rob Brown, have garnered (actually preposterous) loose reputations as unsmiling hardware-slash-software re-wirers. Synonymous with the Warp label, home since 1993 debut album Incunabula, converts to their dense, complex, evolving, unique and precise beats speak of the pair in reverential terms. Once, however, you’ve made their acquaintance in person – as DiS does for the second time, in the hubbub of a dimly lit London bar – the reality is refr…

So I read that ccec is pronounced Seasick. And Cichlisuite is pronounces Sickly Sweet. So my question is: is it drop, or dropy , or droppy, or droopy, or what?

Is there anyway the moderators can specify quality / soundboard for the live sets? I don't want to download everything, especially since the 2 italian ones were only left channel audio.

Autechre Autechre and Phase
by Guest Rogueofmv- 17 replies
- 1.9k views
Autechre tracks match up SO well on Phase (the game for the iPod). Especially Dael. There's a checkpoint practically every time the beat switches up for a measure. Of course, you wouldn't be able to tell by this piece-of-shit video: So don't judge Phase by that vid. Try it yourself. It'll blow you away, especially on Hard difficulty and higher.

"Say I meet an old uncle and he says, "what you up to these days", I say that I make music for a living, and he says, "oh, pop star", and I say no, not really, so he says "how do you make a living if you're not popular", and I say, we're sort of popular, we just about break even and I don't have to sign on and my rent's paid. I try and describe it, but I can't really." Rob
