Guitar & Amp

Decided to sell my Guitar and Amp, and thought I might as well see on here if anyone is interested.

Guitar is Ibanez JS1000 in BTB finish,

A few small knocks and dinks in the finish, but only small cosmetic issues. Guitar works perfectly, plays beautifully, and sounds awesome. Comes in its original Ibanez Hardcase.

Amp is a Marshall G100RCD & 4 X 12" cabinet.

Amp is in good condition, only gigged a couple times. Very slight signs of wear. Clean channel is absolutely amazing, so crisp and clear even at high volumes. 2 Overdrive channels have a lot of warmth and can get extremely dirty if needed. Very versatile sounding amp, and very very loud. Comes with original footswitch for switching channels, and turning reverb on/off.

Im looking for £750 for the guitar, and £300 for the amp, but Im open to offers.

lemme know if you wanna see some pics etc.

Both items are located in Brighton, UK. Would prefer if buyer can collect since delivery for eith item could be pricey to arrange, but not impossible.

eBay: Circuit bent Casio SA-1 keyboard

Happy bidding!

Up for sale is a Casio SA-1 I circuit bent a while back. I'm selling it as I have both a Casio SA-5 and SA-21 that I will circuit bend in the future.

There are four modifications accessible from the front panel. These are:
-Distortion switch
-Distortion amount (also controls chaos and resets the keyboard)
-Chaos switch
-Tone control (useful with distortion)

The keyboard is powered by 4 AA batteries (not included) or a 6V DC adaptor (not included). I would recommend powering the SA-1 from a DC adaptor as Casio's battery container for the SA-1 is rather poor and if the keyboard is in motion, it can power off and on frequently. It's fine if kept stationary on a table however.

PayPal is accepted as payment. Postage of the keyboard within the UK is £6. I will also ship to Europe for £12. If you're local enough, you can pick the keyboard up and drop the postage charge, or pay the postage and I may be able to deliver to you. In this case, payment in cash would be preferable over PayPal.

Beep-it Deluxe is an optical theremin, housed in a handsome laser-cut bamboo case and featuring a big chrome button and 2nd oscillator for enhanced modulation. Beep-it Deluxe emits a square-wave tone reminiscent of 8-bit video game music. A light sensor determines the overall pitch of the instrument, while a knob on the side can be adjusted to induce an oscillating warble into the tone for all of your sci-fi and rhythmic needs. You control the pitch by casting shadows over the light sensor or pointing the sensor towards/away from a light source, or using a pulsing light like a bicycle flasher or a strobe light to produce very interesting effects. Beep-it Deluxe can emit very high, wiggly pitches or very deep bass pulses reminiscent of deep house and techno music. There is an 1/4" output jack for connecting to audio equipment like amplifiers, guitar pedals, recording, etc. Each Beep-it Deluxe is made to order and will take about one week to complete, plus shipping time.
Seeq-it is a square wave synthesizer with a built-in stepped sequencer. There are 8 steps to the sequence, and each step can be set to a different pitch or turned off. LEDs on the front panel indicate the position and speed of the sequence as it moves in a circle. A 2nd low-frequency oscillator can be used to modulate the output pitch, resulting in additional tones and rhythms. A built-in resonant lowpass filter allows for fat frequency sweeps and tone control. Seeq-it's sound is reminiscent of both 8-bit video games and classic techno sequencers. The pitch output ranges from very high to very low, earth-shaking bass frequencies. There is a Control Voltage input/output on the back for an external clock, to aid you in synchronizing Seeq-it to other drum machines and sequencers. An Audio modulation input allows you to plug in a Beep-it or other hot-signal source for interesting frequency-modulation effects. One 1/4" output allows Seeq-it to connect to external amplifiers, effects, and recording devices.

FS: Future Sound Systems Decade Counter DC-1

Hi everyone,

I've got a couple of FSS DC1s up for sale. I'm offering a discount for these as the panels are a little sub-standard:

The holes have been re-drilled due to component tolerances being a little larger than expected. The back of the panel is scratched in the drilling process, but obviously this can't be seen when the module is mounted in the cabinet. There are a couple of light marks on the front too, but I wouldn't call them scratches and can only be seen on close inspection. They're very difficult to spot with everything patched up. If you'd like close-up photos of these marks, PM me and I can send them to you. Due to these slight physical issues, I'm offering these modules at a discounted price of £85 rather than £100. Functionality is as normal with the 10 gate outputs offering +5V signals and the /10 output giving +7V. Ribbon cable and mounting screws are included.

Postage within the UK is £5, to the EU is £10 and anywhere else is £15. PayPal payment is preferred, or if you're local enough you can pick it up and pay in cash. Please PM me if you're interested - one DC1 is ready to ship and the other is half way through being built so will be reserved for the second PM I receive. This is also posted up at Elektron-Users, MuffWiggler's and Electro-Music, so act fast if you're interested!

Cheers!

Circuit Bent Alesis SR 16

http://i42.tinypic.com/v7qcn.jpg

Each switch connects to one bend point and the other switches, so it's kind of like a patchbay and you can get a different bend for each combination of switches. You can do a different bend with the switches on either side, or connect them with the switch on the bottom left. You can get some pretty grimey sounds and switch them quickly.

I did this to see if I could do it, and ended up fucking up one part. There's an extra bend (not controlled by switches) which is on all the time. It does kind of light distortion/gating depending on the sound selected. Not as intrusive as some of the crazy ring mod type effects, but still you might not want to get this for that famous raw Alesis SR-16 sound.

Some combinations of lots of switches (like more than 3 on each side) will turn it off, which is probably normal for circuit bending. There are a couple extra holes where I didn't have enough clearance for the switches, they're covered up with black electrical tape.

Midi/sequencing functions normally, the bending only affects the sounds.

A few demos, each is one pattern with different combinations of switches. There's occassional extra clipping noise from my soundcard.
