Rhubarb appreciation

I'm just in awe of this song. There's nothing else I've heard that's as beautiful, or evokes so much deep emotion, at least not in such an immediate way. I can just turn it on and straight away it puts my life and problems in perspective. It's so simple and yet so effective that it almost makes a mockery of everything that came before it tbh. Maybe this is going too far but it honestly seems to capture some sort of essence of the human condition for me...

So if RDJ releases nothing but acid techno with wacky twisting bass lines for the rest of his life I couldn't be angry because he's never going to top Rhubarb nor is anyone else.

Anyone feel the same way?

Vuvuzela

When I was stuck in traffic today, my mind started wandering and it somehow brought up "Didgeridoo". World Cup Fieber is long over but did anyone make a crack that RDJ should have done a rework called "Vuvuzela"? Probably not. It's really not that funny.

To throw a red herring at your face, did you know that a vuvuzela can reach 113 dB at 2 meters (6.6 ft.) away? And, in a stroke of true IDM, broadcasters have applied notch filtering at 235 and 465 Hz with amplitude modification to commentator voices in order to knock out the drone and improve communication.

Contour Regard

well first question, isn't this track the remix he did for an ad for Orange? Because I looked it up and it's an anagram for stuff like "Orange Crud Rot". (we all know how RDJ loves dem anagrams) I dunno, is there something even better because it'd be pretty gr8 if he was poking fun at Orange in the song title. Orange Orc Turd?
