This has a nice dub-kind-of-like sound to it, if it wasn't for the very bit-crushed beats. Add some dub stabs and round and smooth lead synth on top of it and it'll be a gem. :)

I think this in itself would make for good film music. Something sorrowful about that guitar. I can imagine this being good for like footage of a car driving through an empty ghostlike town or run down city. Yeah definitely has that modern film music vibe going for it. I'd definitely be draw into a movie with this sort of music in the background. In itself I'm not sure if its something I'd put on to get hyped up to but definitely has a strong background/film music feel to it. Not bad I guess.
