Yeah, I was glued to the tv set for the whole match as well. I thought Roddick had a chance to finally win Wimbledon. Poor guy.

But anyone should feel proud about giving Federer a tough match like that.

i was favouring Roddick too. i was before the match, but then Federerīs outfit, that he wore for photos, made me dislike him and favour Roddock even more. but yea, he didnīt let down anyone supporting him.. good effort

i suck at talking sport

Yeah, seriously. The fact that nike had made him a gold coated jacket with 15 on the back to celebrate his victory before he even got it, and then he wore it with a popped collar.

Damn it'd be nice to be Federer.

It was an amazing match. I couldn't say either of them deserved to lose, but I wanted Andy to beat Big Roj. It got a bit dull actually because they both served so well in the last set, but it was still good watchin'.

aah yeah, the last set was crazy. it went to 15 points, didn't it? insane.

i was cheering roddick on as well. he played an excellent game. i was kinda glad that nadal didn't play wimbledon. seeing nadal-federer in the finals constantly gets boring.

Roddick played the best I think I've seen him play. Federer wasn't playing very well at all, but really stepped up in some of the big points, especially the tie break in the second set. I was thinking because of how well Roddick was playing and how off Federer seemed to be that Roddick would win it in the fifth, but he played a couple poor points on that service game and Federer really smelled blood in those last points.

Hats off to Federer. He seems to be a great guy, and has really pushed the sport to greater heights. The angles he produces combined with the power he can generate is something the sport never saw before him. After watching him today, it's clear he's past his prime and won't win too many more majors once Nadal comes back and Djokovic realizes his talent.

Federer is amazing he is so hard to beat, Nadal is in his head but nonetheless his dominance a few years back coupled with his amazing consistency makes him the best ever. He has a shit ton of poise.
