In your opinion,

whats the best recording of the Quaristice tour ? Is there any recording of the same quality ( quality of the sound and the show in general ) as this one?

Pardon me. Double post.

there is nothing close to this in terms of sound quality from the quari tour. glotch may have received one by now. if not, i reckon he still has that guy duct taped and bound in a small hole in his basement

LA 2008 is the best one I've heard.

Yeah this is the best one I've heard too. I also have the 2008 Toronto set which is a bit more overblown with the bass but at certain points you can hear the music a little better than the L.A. set. That being said, the L.A. set is probably the best quality recording and I'm sure most Watmmers will agree.

toronto sounds better to me just because i was there and i can imagine all the other aural shit happening, but yeah the LA one is probably the best.

 you don't name Ae music. You just don't. Yeah I know John Peel did it, but we're gave him a pass. Unfortunately, our lifelines are up.

Found the LA set. Thanks.

The sound quality is not that great though.

Worth a listen though.

Best you're going to get for now though.

I heard the Quari set live twice though, which I think helps a lot. The same way theSun saw it in Toronto and prefers that set, because you have the vibe and remember how it sounds perfectly. I'm just assuming you never heard it live?

I wasn´t present in LA no. Caught the Quaristice show in London. Just being curious - I prefer soundboard recordings to almost any other live recording. Apart from those rare ones where the sound of the music itself / and the crowd are balanced for a great reproduction of the actual gig. But, alas, these are hard to find.

Yeah, truth. I was at the London gig too, it was amazing. I'm around the corner from where they played right now. I'm pretty sure they'll be there again in April.

I'd kill for a soundboard of the Quaristice tour though, god damn...

Hehe, watch your words... ;-)

I thought the first DJ ( Rob Hall I guess ) was fantastic. Probably the best part of the show ( sry everyone ).

A great venue for Æ to play. My mate lives right around the corner.

In Copenhagen they are playing in the new concert hall

not in this space but the foyer.

That said, an Æ set played in there.. perfect match!

Yes, I have seen Ae two times before that and loved it to bits.

The Quaristice show in London I wasn´t blown away by. It was good in my opinion, but not GREAT

Hey, it´s an opinion. Nothing more.

;-)
