kaini Posted October 9, 2009 Share Posted October 9, 2009 errr i mean 44 this nifty app lets you watch 44 UK channels including FIVER, FIVE USA, eurosports 1 & 2, film 4, etc. you must have the latest VLC media player installed to use this. as a side-note it's written in perl and all it does is launch an instance of VLC with commandline params determined by your selection) it's very cool - apparently written by a 15-year old! download this: https://dl.getdropbox.com/u/1808775/britishtv-windows.zip Just unzip it , double click on British Tv. A command window opens with 44 channels listed. Type the channel number hit ENTER on your keyboard. Your channels will play in VLC (FULL SCREEN if you want) This British Tv app is brilliant the programmer who put it together says he may add more sports channels to the listing when it becomes available... some of the streams are patchy but fuck, it's free. fake edit: updated version i haven't tried yet http://www.myp2pforum.eu/live-tv/41045-british-tv.html real edit: just downloaded the updated version... most of the streams seem to be working again. skeptical as to how long it will last though.
