Does anyone feel like this song isn't talked about enough? I love how gloomy that lead melody is. It's been my favourite off SAW85-92 for quite some time now.

i'd place it highly.
it's like a foggy tundra, with distant electronic bleeps in the distance, and very faint lights. you are trying to get closer to it, but cannot find it

It would fit right on SAWII. Kind of a woozy, sick melancholy mood throughout the whole track provided by all the gluey analogueness. I feel Mike P was very inspired by this track when he made Duntisbourne...

One of my favorites from 85-92, those parts when the beat stops and that melody just drones on and on....same uncomfortable feeling as most of SAWII

It's not bad.. I like it actually.
However the "The Waxen Pith" is just phenomenal.

while it's certainly a wonderful track, i have a feeling it gets talked about plenty.

edit: also, i must say i LOVE saw 85-92 but saw ii is rubbish. i've never found much enjoyment in any of those tracks, perhaps i've never been in the right mood (though i've probably given it around 10 full listens).

i can't really enjoy saw ii, it just reminds me of the bad times and circumstances surrounding when i bought it. it's probably my least favorite aphex album.
