Worked fine for a while, then seemed to stop working. Also brand new cartridge / stylus and it hasn't fixed it. Sort of angry / sad / confused. I'm almost done now so I watched the whole thing again (which I've done hundreds of times so far) and now I'm just not feeling it. The flow seems off. Urrghhhh... If my GF didn't have so much education stuff tied up out here, I'd have bought some property in Southern Oregon and done my own thing by now. I hate making other people money when they don't even appreciate the work I've put in. It's really shitty when you start to see the side of your bosses where you know they really don't give a fuck about you. Whaaaat? I'm so disappointed to hear that. You seemed so stoked about the new position when it was coming up. What are they doing that's pissing you off? Lots of promises and little being actually done. I haven't been paid for a month and am working pretty much for free and required to put in 40+ hours a week. After working with these people to make them heaps of money I've pretty much been cast aside as they work on their other projects and sell/move on from the ones I worked with. This month, I lost money by working this job -- that is not how things should work. On the plus side, I have a second-round interview to do a different position in a different company that would pay very well. Hoping I get the spot so I can tell my current bosses to eat a cock... well probably not literally because I dislike burning bridges, but these new dudes and I really vibed and I'd imagine I'll get the spot. Basically everything my company promised me to move to them was never delivered other than my base salary. I should have got it all in writing. They had promised me paid overtime - made me work 10-12hrs a day for the first 3 months, didn't pay me a dime in overtime, and then claimed they had told me no paid overtime. They promised me 3 weeks vacation when I pass my probation period - then claimed what they meant is that I start ACCRUING vacation time after my probation. Also claimed they only told me 2 weeks. They promised me 9 personal days a year to use for anything I want - when I got in, even trying to book days off for appointments etc they'd try and fuck me around and make me work an overnight shift to "pay it back". They promised me they would pay 100% of my tuition (my previous job paid 80%) - when I got in they said I'd have to sign an agreement to work with them 2 years after I graduate otherwise they would cease paying my tuition. tl;dr/endrant: I know about getting fucked over and it sucks. Lesson I learned is to get everything, absolutely everything, in writing. I'm not sure if that would help your case, but yeah. This, however, is good news. I hope that works out. When you go out, don't burn any bridges but you should make it clear that you're leaving because they've not delivered on their promises. Just did a scratch for Gloomy Sunday (based on the Billie Holiday version), and performing and listening back to it is way to satisfying. I think I may have been born into the wrong gender. I think when I impersonate a female singer I automatically use my diaphram properly just to make the right sound. I can do much longer phrases in one breath. That's not quite as bad, but it still made me a little bit angry every time I saw the sign. Bechuga Posted May 11, 2016 Share Posted May 11, 2016 The day after my hearing is cleared by the hearing specialist at hospital, the partial deafness in my ear returns, meaning I have to go to my GP, request hospital appointment and do all this shit again to get my ear sorted. If it had happened a day before, I could have gotten it checked out! The timing is so fucking shit... The only plus is I know for a fact what is happening this time so I can rest easy it's not brain cancer. But still, it sucks. My ear crackles like a dusty vinyl everytime I move my jaw.
