it looks more like "simon the ex aanbe" to me

this coupled with "mastered by guy at the exchange" make me think there's something in the contract that demands a prominent mention and these guys went overboard to spite them or something

Dudes at The Exchange etch runouts all the time. This is completely normal.

Most records have etches on them. Its a cat number i presume.
