also I dunno the older commercials are like a dull scary, like a creepier SAWII track. Ticket Oak is just so fractally perfect in its creepiness/feels like it's going to replace reality if you look too hard at it

Creepy appears to be "in" right now. Seems like the evolution of "random" and "bizarre" which we were getting in the late 2000's/early 2010's with Skittles, Old Spice, Starburst, and other stuff.

If you look at commercials aimed at women (yogurt, tampons, cleaning stuff) they all look about the same as 20 years ago though. I guess the same goes for hot wheels commercials though too.
