Given the way that our modern lives have become increasingly automated, this comes as no surprise. I think physical inactivity is probably the biggest health concern of our time; our bodies are made to move, not to sit around on our asses all day.

chris morris did a good job of summing up the pointless hysteria involved with this issue.

Thankfully i'm not interested in photographing the general public or the spaces they inhabit, although people do give you funny looks when you take your camera down the beach. This never used to happen, so it is something that they have conditioned into people. Quite sad how mailable their tiny minds are. Maybe all that inactivity softened them up.

I was getting into playing football again this summer until the club that maintains their government subsidized pitches locked the gates and put up a sign they'd sue if we'd play on it again. It's not even real grass! Makes me angry.
