I know Nolan was going for a more realistic Batman experience, but this is ridiculous.

Seriously though, how many gun crimes is it going to take for them to be banned in the US?

You don't understand. Guns make safer because you can shoot back.Sorry, that was in bad taste.

maybe if there's a spate of billionaires' children's heads getting blown off there would be a push for concessions, but even then I wouldn't bet on it. the nra won't allow it. there's too much money in the gun industry and too many conservative gun-loving retards who don't have to worry about inner city violence and suchlike.

Meaghan from Hemel Hempstead, UK
emails: When Columbine happened I was 13 and living in Mississippi, pretty far from Colorado. Being from the south, I've always been a big supporter of the right to bear arms. I'm just so sorry that the very right I support causes so much pain.
What the hell? I just don't understand it. Have the NRA brainwashed people into thinking that it's possible to defend yourself from a bullet with another bullet??
Or is it similar to a nuclear stand-off: people think they are less likley to be shot (or a victim of a crime) if the criminal knows you have a gun??

not sure I agree with the focus on gun laws. i think this is more of a psychological/social issue, and i feel the same about columbine.

exactly.
gun ban in US=logistically impossible.
