Josh, I just ordered "Iguana" on cassette from amazon. $9.99. One of the more expensive tape purchases i've made, but that cover makes it completely worth it.

Not quite sure if it could be considered bonafide vaporwave, but I made this video Memorex a couple years ago which is an hour long mix of tracks somewhat in this style paired with cutup footage of 80s commercials. It's been posted on the forum before but I didn't even know what vaporwave was back in 2011 when I started editing this, so it's cool to look back and see a similar aesthetic that has been emerging over the past couple years.

There are some other videos on my Vimeo channel with a similar style if you like this one.

^ I still have the full fat versions of Memorex and Skinemax tucked away on the server here. They certainly tickle the nostalgia receptors in the right way, faint vapors abound for sure.

Awesome, glad some people here like it. My friend and I are working on a new one that I think is going to be the weirdest yet, visually at least. Pretty excited, I'm in the process of mixing the audio now so sometime in 2015.

I linked to this on the vaporwave reddit in a comment and shortly after someone else posted it. It was well-received. It's interesting how much many of those artists in that mix aren't mentioned or well-known among many vaporwave fans. Like, people either love them and know them well or have no idea who they are. I think it's often a generation gap (like vaporwave fans in their late 20s and 30s know things like BoC and older IDM well, whereas the teenagers are completely new to such artists). I actually started threads about VHS Head and 1991 specifically because vaporwave fans don't know them despite the aesthetic similarities.
