I was hoping some DPRK female soldier would wave the checkered flag at the beginning, like in the craptacular 90s arcade racing classic Crusin' USA

Leave it to North Korea to make a sequel to Desert Bus...

Looks like they're slowly making their way out of the dark ages. The important lesson it teaches is not to piss off the female traffic officers.

if you actually read the site, it's clear the studio (an outsourcing studio) is run by foreigners (I see a German and a Chinese, along with someone with a Korean name, possibly ABK). So much for local initiative/innovation.
Like how they also brag about their captive workforce, lol.

The Vice Chairman has a .co.uk Yahoo email adress. weird... lol

as said, they're a bunch of foreigners looking to milk the cheap labor. Notice you pay offshore as well. So none of the profit goes back to "enrich the local economy" (ie. Kim Jong Un's bank acct).

Visit Pyongyang! I guess this is a tool to promote tourism and international relations. North Korea looks like a sweet place to live drive a car.

LOL
For those asking "why?" I believe the game was funded by the Beijing based Koryo Tours, who do tours of parts of North Korea.
