Looks cool, but still not worth the money.

“At the beginning of the process we discussed a few ideas Richard wanted to explore – one was the idea of pressing the album or a single track into the fabric of the cover, effectively as a deboss; a second was to use shots of the raw vinyl pucks albums are pressed from; and the third was to document in some way every cost involved in the production of the specific album format the purchaser had in their hands,”

What do they mean by this?

Just photos of blank vinyls?

I suppose he meant this:

The black glob is "raw vinyl", which is then pressed with the master plate and voilá, there's the record

It's not clear if this is the regular vinyl or the special edition. I just hope the Wav's and MP3's come with a little specific design attention, even though it's not physical, not just a little cover icon. I'm sure they will figure as the bulk of sales of Syro anyways.

What about the regular editions though? That's what I really want to see

mebbe it'll be the same as this but with a regular/coloured vinyl sleeve instead of the fancy etched one

bcuz it really does look like rdj is holding up an LP in that initial press photo

TDR has also created 'a disinfographic', listing all of the equipment used to make the album

Wow, nice! Could that be the circular thingy on the last sleeve?

Possibly the 'list' of instruments used in the recording of the album?
