he's just a kid playing with his tools, which are billions, medias and notoriety.

but the intentions are the same then every kids of his age i guess.

still i deserve the right to laugh at him and find him ridiculous.

Jaden & Willow Smith NYT interview. very IDM.

THE CONCEPT OF TIME
WILLOW: “I mean, time for me, I can make it go slow or fast, however I please, and that’s how I know it doesn’t exist.”
JADEN: “It’s proven that how time moves for you depends on where you are in the universe. It’s relative to beings and other places. But on the level of being here on earth, if you are aware in a moment, one second can last a year. And if you are unaware, your whole childhood, your whole life can pass by in six seconds. But it’s also such a thing that you can get lost in.”
HOW THE BRAIN WORKS
JADEN: “So when one thought goes into your mind, it’s not just one thought, it has to bounce off both hemispheres of the brain. When you’re thinking about something happy, you’re thinking about something sad. When you think about an apple, you also think about the opposite of an apple. It’s a tool for understanding mathematics and things with two separate realities. But for creativity: That comes from a place of oneness. That’s not a duality consciousness. And you can’t listen to your mind in those times — it’ll tell you what you think and also what other people think.”
WILLOW: “And then you think about what you think, which is very dangerous.”
ON THEIR COLLABORATIONS
WILLOW: “Me and Jaden just figured out that our voices sound like chocolate together. As good as chocolate tastes, it sounds that good.”
DEEP THOUGHTS ON FASHION
JADEN: “Willow just dropped a song (Cares), let me quote the lyrics: ‘I do not care what people say.’ We both don’t really care. I like to wear things that I make, but I throw it on as though I was throwing on anything. It looks cool, sometimes.”
WILLOW: “I like to go to places with my high-fashion things where there are a lot of cameras. So I can just go there and be like, “Yep, yep, I’m looking so sick.” But in my regular life, I put on clothes that I can climb trees in.”
WHY THEY’RE ANTI-SCHOOL
JADEN: “You never learn anything in school. Think about how many car accidents happen every day. Driver’s ed? What’s up? I still haven’t been to driver’s ed because if everybody I know has been in an accident, I can’t see how driver’s ed is really helping them out.”
WILLOW: “I went to school for one year. It was the best experience but the worst experience. The best experience because I was, like, “Oh, now I know why kids are so depressed.” But it was the worst experience because I was depressed.”
We just … can’t. #Flatlines

Children of incredibly wealthy and famous parents become egocentric airheads spilling new-age noise like manufactured 'enlightenment' is a fashion statement?! I'm shocked.

It's easy to get lost in nonsense that you read in pseudo-spirituality books if you've never had to work a goddamn day in your life.

But good for them, the next generations will have bright idols who couldn't even take the doldrums of public schooling like the rest of us depressed sods.

You guys sound so cynical and jilted. It's sad that you can get angry at someone for being creative and introspective. Or treat them as if they don't have a right to criticize something we all no sucks, because they have lived a blessed life. It's such a "blue collar" perspective. Sounds like something an alcoholic dad would say when he got back from working in the mines.

They are kids though. Their ideas, although well meaning, and imo on the right track are not full formed. They may never get to that level either, but at least they are looking towards the right places.
