from create digital music : "We just got word from the NAMM Show organizers that synth manufacturers have nearly doubled their show floor square footage since last year, making this one of the show’s fastest-growing segments.

And you know what double the area for synths means….. double the synths!"

Wow these akai machines are sexy as fuck...

I remember 2 years ago when I was working for a guitar website. I had so many news to make during NAMM and Musikmesse, but since it was only about guitar/bass/amps/pedals/... I had completely overlooked all of this shit. Damn I'd love to attend these. The disneyland of gearporn.

Guest Chesney

Excited for the Karp Koddyssey, been subconciously keeping money aside all year for it.

Not holding out much hope for Akai though. The Wolf sounded terrible and took nearly a year to fix and the MPX series which I was excited about are unusable.

How do you play poly successfully on 2 octaves I do not know ha.

I'm happy to see that the PO-12 isn't locked to the three preset tempo's that it appeared to be locked to in the prototype stage. Adjustable BPM & swing!!!! Yay :)

Hope the OP-1 OS update is soon.

have they even talked about an os update yet? i mean there's supposedly been one in the works for a while where they accepted user submitted presets but not heard anything since that contest was run in like september or something. there was also a picture of the op-1 internals floating around that should a big open spot for some kind of add on in the left side.
