Was it a better sound system that their last bloc gig? Clark posted something about the sub sound field and it looked kicking

Didn't go to the last AE one but all the PA systems at Bloc were pretty spot on, clear and punchy especially the bass.

Word on the grape vine says they had their sound guy making sure all Bloc's recording equipment was locked down before AE went on (probably because of last time) however he apparently recorded the set on his own equipment!!!?

maybe one day....... :catsob:

Interesting set tho it didn't seem to be as intense as Glasgow and only started to get going towards the end for me.

yeah I know what you mean, quite a slow build up although they dropped an intense fav. from their Warp25 set quite early on.

urgh wish I was back there now

GREAT!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

I will examine this set as the dermatologist examines melanoma. I only listened to the first few minutes (with the new segments!): I think it's a record that deserves remastering ... unfortunately I can not, I can only trust any of you ...

Just realised this sounds a little muddy on my other speakers, think my monitors aren't set up right or that I'm mixing too loud, watch this space.

Difference between the sound quality of AE at Bloc 2010 and 2015 is night and day. 2010 was terrible, 2015 sounded amazing.

I did a quick remaster of this, mostly for my own listening purposes. Reigned in the mud/boominess, boosted the highs, added some stereo depth. Should be able to hear more detail now:

(The last part is insane!)

It's hard to express in words (and with my fucking googlish English) the gratitude for having found this remastered version ... I sensed there was every chance to get a great sound from that recording.
Anyway... another absurd journey into the bowels of the mind, countless new variations, new arrangements, melodies, passages. The ending go beyond the same Autechre, it's metautechric. I absolutely have to be able to attend a second date of this live-set, before they come back in the darkness for who knows how many more years. If these two prepare a set every four/five years, how many more times I can see them in this life? Five? Six? To be optimistic.
It's not much, not at all.
