WANTED: early Mordant Music artifacts

Rubin Farr

Recommended Posts

looking for any of the early limited run badges, Flux Magazine - August 2002, Nijmegen 12 page booklet, Shackleton - Stalker 7" (one sided)

did anyone ever find out who might be involved in Pyramids of Space? "Cornwall Collective, 1992" is such a loaded phrase, it could almost be any of our featured artists lol.

The whole MM universe is quite a mystery to me - I have 'Petri Dish' (3cm CD in a Petri Dish) and the Disinformation DVD, and the odd things I've seen on Youtube are completely different again in style. Is MM a collective, an individual, a label. In a weird way I quite like the mystery of it all !

This is proper boogie techno

Mordant Music; MM, Baron Mordant, Brian Mordant, Broadway Danny Rose, Deadstock, Ian Hicks is all the same guy, he's labeled up for over a decade, and put out some good shite.

He's done some nice solo material, most famous for Dead Air http://www.discogs.com/Mordant-Music-Dead-Air/release/716931

More recently, he puts out other artists' releases, with the occasional appearance on a split release, or a remix here and there. Seems like a nice bloke from our correspondence, i'm sure he reads this site lol.
