everything is explained in the reaper forum topic. Basically a really gentle saturation for people who want their stuff not to exceed 0 db but don't really want the telltale signs/artifacts of being saturated

last time I checked Reaper was maybe 5, 10? years ago, and I recall people asking in the forums groove quantization to be implemented as a feature ... but do I understand this right, you can write your own effects as a text file, some kind of pseudocode, that's impressive

yeah and unless you're doing something reeaaaally weird it takes like 1 second to compile

 

I actually recently made an album with some kind of generative music script with some dumb synth code thrown in, that can do the weirdshit I want like strange time signatures and scales
