I'm playing at some backpacker's hangout called the Beetle Bar, it's at 350 Upper Roma St, past that fire station thing.

I've played a lot of shows with bands etc but for some reason never a solo show, so this is my first. I'll be using Ableton Live on laptop with a Launchpad and a Korg Monotron. I don't believe there's a cover charge either so drop in if you can!

My band used to be called Purity Device, we had some issues and had to change our name

So now we're called Ektoise. But we are still releasing our remix record that we told you about and have posted the Bola and Black Dog remixes on our myspace

Indaba Music's running a Peter Gabriel remix/cover comp. He's just released an album of cover versions of other people's tunes and he's been getting each of the artists he's covered to reciprocate by covering one of his tunes. So with this comp he's given us the multitracks for Games Without Frontiers to use for a cover or remix.

I got in at the last minute but I'm pretty happy with how my version turned out. You can check it out here.
