So not quite sure why they're doing it, but it looks like today the official WarpRecords youtube channel has decided to upload full Squarepusher tracks from a whole bunch of his albums: http://www.youtube.com/user/WarpRecords/videos?view=0 I'm wondering if it's an effort to gain extra revenue and/or to get the unofficial videos on there taken down.

The newest one! High Bpm! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAJKuBR8bzA The one he played since september. Straight forward drum pattern and simple synth chords to maximum effect. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFEdFfhiy_4 First time since Ultravisitor that he is developing his new tracks on tour . Keeping the song "skeleton" rather simple to allow free flow of musical ideas in his improvisation. Quiet exciting.

I haven't really seen anyone discuss lyrics here... whether it's because no one has figured them out or because no one really cares, I don't know. But the vocoder is one of the most interesting aspects of the album to me, and I love Into The Blue, so I'm gonna start there. I wrote down the best I could hear - hopefully you guys can fix it up or fill in the ?????s INTO THE BLUE lost in the (park?) lost in the place where ???? quite moving here in (hearing?) the dark are you alive? where did you go (back?) ???? the trace of memory winds me tight how can it be? vanish into clean air disappear so gracefully, stranded somewhere inside the voice …

Sure, let’s make a thread. Who is attending and what halloween costume will you be wearing? Pete Ascdi <- probably will just cop out and wear my Circle-K employee smock, which is like .25 of a costume

Had to post this in the Squarepusher forum. Just stumbled upon this today. The whole album is composed of tracks done with the sound fonts of the original Super Mario Kart for Super Nintendo. The track Town Square (Meow City) is a remix of "Squarepusher Theme" and "Hello Meow". Check it out! A lot of tracks on there are good, and it's a free album. http://soundsfromsci.bandcamp.com/track/town-square-meow-city

Soundcrash met up with Tom Jenkinson - aka Squarepusher for a chat about his music, his muses, and his mind-blowing visuals on the Ufabulum album tour, coming to London's Hackney Empire in October 2012. The interview is followed by the track Square Window, taken from the limited-run EP of the same name. Check it out here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZFFDiqEkMI&feature=plcp

I just saw Squarepusher's Ufabulum show in Berlin (30.9.12). It was great. Being an architecture student, I was also quite impressed with the LED rig. Im wondering if you folk know of any interviews where he mentions if he put it together himself, or the process behind getting it done. I have read that he developed the visuals alongside the music, so he probably knew the specs and limitations of the rig. But besides the programming, the physical construction of the thing was top notch, with each LED panel fitted into a clean array, all the spacings even. Has he mentioned working with anyone to make it? The scale of the rig makes me think he could design and buil…
