Bluetech - Dreaming into Being
by Guest PaSaul- 7 replies

Bluetech is back with a new ambient album. From is Bandcamp page: Dreaming Into Being' is an exploration of expanded states of being. There is another world—both contained within our own and simultaneously surrounding us, like the germinating seed within a shell and the rarified atmosphere at higher altitudes. It is a place where the foundational structures of myth take shape, where the lovers, the dearly departed, the dream keepers, the sages and guides all reside, patiently waiting for us to discover them and share breath again. Like a temple containing gilded gates in every facade, there are many entries into this place of being, and for me the most potent is thr…

"Axel Willner, a.k.a. The Field, will return with his fourth studio album, Cupid’s Head, on September 30th via Kompakt. The follow-up to 2011′s Looping State of Mind is reportedly much darker in tone than Willner’s past efforts, a shift evident even in the switch from light-colored album art to Cupid‘s depressive grey." look http://consequenceofsound.net/2013/07/the-field-announces-new-album-cupids-head/

Eight months ago, a series of mysterious messages were exchanged in the bowels of WATMM, initiating a collaboration which would lead to the creation of a double debut EP, which will be released on the 12th of April in sexy DIY cassette format. We are proud to present: This screen-printed yellow tape comes in a handmade box, with dual-sided artwork, and an insert providing tracklisting and information, all lovingly handcrafted with a DIY approach. On the cassette, you will find 40 minutes of fresh music from Antape and Kotekan, in the form of two 20 minute debut EPs. 14 tracks seeping with synthesizer screams, lush ambient soundscapes, off-kilter beats, cubist comp…

"Rod Modell has been making experimental dub-techno under the Deepchord moniker since 2000, and has today announced the project's latest full-length, 20 Electrostatic Soundfields. The album is planned for a release via Modell's longtime label home, Soma, marking his third release for the outpost. 20 Electrostatic Soundfields is said to be more ambient than its predecessors, and according to the press release, its 20 tracks are "an assemblage of conceptual audioscapes culled from video soundtrack and installation works made between 2008 and 2012." The press release also notes that "the album has an otherworldly, nocturnal feeling that would sit well on a David Lynch soundt…

this is one of the weirdest things phil elverum has put out, i think. it's basically a collection of songs from his last two albums (ocean roar and clear moon) but with most of the music replaced with weird midi/synth stuff and all of the vocals autotuned to hell and back. also, grok this album cover: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rL1p1UCaCDk i don't even know. but i like it in spite of myself. track list: 01 ORGANS (Pale Lights) 02 No Inside, No Out 03 I Say No 04 the Hidden Stone 05 the Place Lives 06 the Place I Live 07 Lone Bell 08 House Shape 09 Clear Moon 10 Yawning Sky 11 Ocean Roar 12 ORGANS (the Place Lives)

"after successful ep collapsed (r-n116) the bristol based project strikes back with a full length album on raster-noton. once more james ginzburg & paul purgas challenge the perceptual boundaries between noise and music and the potential for both technology and architecture to embed and codify themselves within sound. recur is presented as emptyset’s third studio album, continuing on from their work with demiurge the material examines the central themes of time, structure and recursion, through the analysis of scale and the interaction of both formal and fractured sonics. the album furthers the project’s exploration of rhythm, dislocation and feedback within the frame…

"Leyland James Kirby, one half of V/Vm and the mind behind The Caretaker and Leyland Kirby, has announced that he will be releasing a new album under his alias The Stranger this autumn. Titled Watching Dead Empires In Decay, it will be released through Manchester label Modern Love on 28th October. It follows on from a quiet 18 months, release wise, for Kirby. Having put out a prolific string of material in 2011 and early 2012, including an album and series of EPs as Leyland Kirby and two Caretaker albums, we've heard little from him in the time period since." "Watching Dead Empires In Decay is his third album as The Stranger, and is the follow up to 2008's comparative…
