hello everyone, really happy to share with you guys my new album "libre arbitre". http://recycledplastics.bandcamp.com/album/libre-arbitre https://soundcloud.com/arbeemonkey/par-manque-de-temps For the final installment of the Bedroom Compost series before we enter a new year, we bring you Arbee's seductive Libre Arbitre album. Virtually bubbling over with wild sprawls of organic electronics, Libre Arbitre delivers a warm, cuddly listening experience that is perfect for Winter. Arbee's standalone style of growing alien forms from familiar electronic pastures is once again at the forefront of these songs - at any moment, a track can twist itself from a…

Hi there, The EOY TEFOSAV Aggregation Project 0x0004 release is now available. Our Paean to the Mayans' and their kerazy belief in things changing when their calendar ended looks like it might be around for longer than expected. For your listening delight, http://tefosav.bandcamp.com/album/tefosav-aggregation-project-0x0004 With some music from a bunch of people from this site, not too bad a release all in all :). We'll be doing a load of stuff in the new year including a set of valentine songs and a bunch of collaborations. Any feedback would be more than welcome. Cheers, FuncRand(m)

LOV08 - Tafkas - Hidden Tracks (2003-2012) L.P Format: 320kbps MP3 or Lossless WAV Total running time: 50:11 Cost: £5.00 Genre: Experimental Acid "So as I put an end to Shitmat and temporarily become Tafkas (The artist formerly known as Shitmat) for this singular release I thought it was right to open the proverbial animal cage and let some of my other works free. This is a assortment of music I have made over the last 9 years. The music you hear was made in many different locations and in many different states and states of mind. It was never meant to be collected and released in this way. In fact most of it was never meant for…

Zander One hails from Ohio, and brings Recycled Plastics his lovingly crafted first full-length work Echoate. Echoate is absolutely everything you could want to cuddle up with during the colder months when Autumn transitions into Winter - deep throbs of warm basslines, simple buoyant kickdrums and beautiful synth chords that seem to slowly melt like ice under a gentle orange sun. Reminding us, at times, of what it could be like if Yagya and Seefeel produced a dub techno album together, Zander One goes a step further and defines all of his signature elements minimally and efficiently. Echoate is a work that is presented with zero filler - only carrying with it the essentia…

Following this year’s hugely critically acclaimed new album Lucifer, LA duo Aaron Coyes and Indra Dunis, AKA Peaking Lights have announced the imminent release of Lucifer In Dub – a special collection of dub edits conjured up by Coyes himself which will be released on December 10th through us here at Weird World. The Sonic Boom-mastered, six song collection takes the glistening strands of krautrock, minimal house, analogue dance music, skewed pop and the band’s core influence – dub – which Lucifer so successfully fused together and pushes even more deeply into the murky heat of the latter. The result is a seductively heavy surrealist-soundsystem monster that acts as a pe…

"Raised in Norfolk, Fake has been a part of the Border Community stable for the best part of a decade, while also building up relationships with the likes of Four Tet and Radiohead (who he remixed, along with Shed, Pearson Sound and others, for the band’s recent TKOL RMX series). The single’s title is a reference to the Iceni, an ancient Celtic tribe that lived in what is now Norfork." http://soundcloud.com/border-community/icenistrings#new-timed-comment-at-293899[/media] http://www.factmag.c...-single-inside/ http://www.bordercommunity.com/

Laurent Chambert/The Fractal Skulls - Blue Four
by Guest blue tapes- 0 replies

blue four Laurent Chambert/The Fractal Skulls C20+C25 Sample + buy here! Laurent Chambert is a French visual artist and composer who has been creating beautiful and unusual art since 1990. His installations are playful, thought-provoking and visually-arresting. As a musician he has been involved in several acclaimed projects, the most recent of which is the electronic duo The Other Colors. Laurent’s submission to Blue Tapes is When The Cat Is Away The Mice Will Play. In his solo work, Laurent combines field recordings with flickering patterns of electronic sound that are both grid-like and strangely euphoric. Like the brilliant Italian producer Lorenzo …

"Unlike some ambient music, Loyal, Jakub Alexander's release under the Heathered Pearls moniker, embraces the idea of melody with understated but distinct sounds emerging from the loops Alexander uses to construct his tracks. "I wanted to find a world that was built on repetition, erosion and melody because making these songs was about recreating soothing environments." "The album's roots lie in a very utilitarian idea: "I started writing what now has become Loyal as a mental break from my personal anxieties," Alexander says. A study in the hypnotic, calming qualities of music, Loyal is also a tribute to Alexander's mother and Aunt (featured on the cover) who were cr…

1. Shutter Speed 2. Hequon 3. Shades 4. Gaddagive Hello WATMM. Dark Sky are a little unknown around these parts, perhaps not IDM enough for most but I think they're coming out with some great stuff recently. They're a London trio who just put out decent tracks here and there is all. They're sort of a collision of dubstep (I know I know), 2-step and 90's house, but with modern production. It's great stuff, good to dance to and not so offensive your friends will be plugging their ears, but at the same time enough stuff happening to keep you interested. At least check it out, here's a personal favourite off the new EP http://youtu.be/7sMCXfRk96o

I was a big fan of the (lovely Natasha Khan's) last album, Two Suns, so it's a pleasure to listen to her new album, The Haunted Man, which is continues to be a rich vein of good music. During the space between her last two albums, she was on the verge of quitting music to become a primary school teacher, but education's loss has been music's gain.
