Hello! This is a little extra pre-release to my upcoming Fahzers Set To Earth album. It's all hardware synths and drum machines, only used the laptop for sequencing and recording. http://fahtunes.bandcamp.com/album/prefahzers Up for pay whatever you feel it's worth, as long as you enjoy it !

Having worked diligently on this pretty proud it's finally out. There are no music samples as per the nature of the project but I think most of you will find plenty to like if not love about it. http://concretesoundsystem.com/ Full label launch is on June 5th.

"The stringently all-analogue Metamono trio launch their Instrumentarium imprint with an abstracted, juking follow-up to their Ho Hum 10". A-side's 'Mattressphere' is a sort of hardware simulation of Can doing AquaTech with Stingray and Felix Kubin, fast as f*ck and bloopy with it, for over eleven minutes of tweaking, workin' quirks and urgent bass. B-side 'JabJab' adopts a more pendulous groove, carving loopy ring modulation and stray noises into some kinda Conrad Schnitzler-meets-Border Community groove, leaving 'Glue Shoes' to tickle their devices into a woozy, pastoral melody." listen http://www.metamono....shop_music.html

Outer-space rapper Sensational finally caught up to his underground fame and releases self-produced tracks again. Much in the vein of last year's return album. Heavy uncomfortable beats, slow burning groove, puzzling noises. Still completely personal and un-trendy. Not so aesthetically advanced as early works, though something different to hear. http://sensational1....open-for-biznes For those who is somehow unfamiliar with the subject: http://youtu.be/gnNpY5wasOs

"Volume 3:All Pathways Open comprises a further twelve tracks lovingly transferred from those now fabled 1/4″ and cassette tapes." "The Advisory Circle kindly lent a hand and retransferred ‘Electronic Rhythm Number Eighteen’ for which we are very grateful. Our Head Technician tells us this particular segment had been giving him a fair bit of trouble, so the help was appreciated." http://pyecorneraudio.wordpress.com/ buy http://boomkat.com/c...l-pathways-open listen http://furtherrecord...l-pathways-open

Not sure who here is familiar with Jai, he got signed by the owner of XL on the strength of his Myspace demo, which they then released. This is his second single: here is his first for reference:

"In March 1998, with one of our earliest releases (a 12” featuring Third Eye Foundation on one side, and a then-unknown V/Vm on the other), FatCat initiated its split series. These original releases came exclusively on 12” vinyl, packaged in a highly distinctive, minimalist aesthetic. Individually numbered, and with no external reference to the artists or music contained within, each release was identified purely by a hole drilled in its plain white cardboard sleeve." K. Flay - Eyes Shut EP
by Guest A/D- 0 replies

I've been following K. Flay since "I Stopped Caring In '96". She has some great depressed raps. She also does all her own production, which is top notch, killer drums and great sampling. Eyes Shut has some harder pop production including a couple of really well-used dubstep synths. She's not one of these Kreayshawn people who pretend to be black. She's doing her own thing and I think it is awesome. The EP is available for free on her site. http://eyesshut.kflay.com/ Hope you like it WATMM. edit: wanted to add an example of her sampling genius. from that grizzly bear song. ht…

"René Pawlowitz aka Shed returns to Ostgut Ton under the new moniker The Traveller and delivers the first 12” of this new project. Under his new guise Pawlowitz picks up at his roots and delivers a deep techno record made for the floor. The beats on the A-Side “A 100” are fierce; the melodic synth line lifts you up while everything around appears to be burning down. The experimental first track on the B-side “BER” meanders without beats and full of broken chords around that moment of ecstasy without ever reaching a break. On the B-side’s second track “Bypass” René says hello to the techno-heroes, rolls out a red carpet and shows them what he has learned. Pack your bag…

"Given that we're living in the age of the come-back, one terrain we’ve been extra-pleased to see get resurrected and siphoned through the stargate of cassette-crud mutation is hypno R&B. A significant cut of global listeners can count the style as one of their formative musical memories, so there’s nothing shallow or ironic about its recent reappropriation in alien-ized bedroom beat scenes (regardless of what blog conservatives post to the contrary). All of which is joyously confirmed and celebrated in the retro-futurist exoskeletons scavenged and funkified by Germany’s one-man groove merchant LX Sweat. Screwed Up Click backing tracks are stacked high with sci-fi voc…

"Released on Marc E's Merc label. According to the label: 'Somewhere between his East London studio 'The Odyssey' and a digital fantasy known as Metropolis, Quaid makes raw, emotive electronic music with just the right amount of analog freak. Referencing his formative years spent listening to Prince and The Egyptian Lover and filtered via the deeper side of Detroit - the result is irrepressible machine funk." "A New World, aims to capture, detail and relay many different stories from within the re-born city of Detroit. Across the course of eight tracks, many different moods and styles are explored from dark and abstract to more synth lead and serene. There are plenty of squelchy acid lines and frantic percussive workouts, but so too are there pockets of slower, deeper, dubbier introspection that speak of mystery and intrigue as does the city of Detroit itself." "Says D’Marc of the album.. "Detroit, MI has a rich history and is filled with amazing people and I wanted to capture what I feel every time I go there. With every song there’s an evolution that leads you to a new y…

Goliath makes advanced minimal electro for several years and is very rare to be heard. He released one great LP "Mineral Kingdom" on his label Z-bop in 2006 without much attention. Finally dutch imprint Clone requested him to do a record for them. http://clone.nl/item19513.html http://hardwax.com/6...ssage-carriers/ Here's one of the older compilation tracks, the only one of his tracks found there. Represents his style. http://youtu.be/-ubYcDgo-dY

"Tresor Records are pleased to present S_W_Z_K, the new project from David Brown aka Swayzak. Whilst the name remains identifiable, S_W_Z_K presents a clear departure from his work with James Taylor who recently left the legendary production duo. Taking cues from the outfit’s heavier live material, Brown — with the sporadic help of long time collaborator and friend Richard Davis — steers S_W_Z_K into deep and spacious techno on this eponymous debut album."
