After releasing an IDM album earlier in the year to rapturous applause (a handful of plays on bandcamp), I decided to get a bit loose-y goose-y and have fun with more overt melodies and vocoders. ? Started as a joke, gradually mutated into a forgotten eastern european synth pop hit Electro-ish interpretation of Purple Haze by Jimi The Haptic Drifter - sci fi synth stuff Radio Junkie Super Soul - a bit of a krautrock thing I suppose

Hello, I'm in a bit of a period where lots of experiments over the years are getting fairly congealed. Figured I'd post a few things. First a test from today after getting my devices all going properly via MIDI, and having it all either controlled by my Yamaha Q70 or Ableton, without having to switch anything. Also have everything applicable running into a USB 3 hub to allow for patches/samples to be interchanged at will: Also a few various older tests of all kinds of wide variety: https://cheephardware.bandcamp.com/album/turnythirthy4 And a list of 50+ hardware test jams from a few years back: https://emeneeaudion.bandcamp.com/al…

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and joined partly because I don't think music is being heard by anyone other than my mates, who say it's good but they probably would, so any constructive criticism would be appreciated. I'm also interested to see what other people are producing here. I've been a huge fan of The Black Dog, Autechre, BOC, Aphex, etc. since they started making music, so that's where a lot of my influences come from. I like making psychedelic music with melody and atmosphere. I try making more textural, darker stuff sometimes but can't seem to help forcing a melody in. These are my latest two tracks that will be part of a three track EP. They we…

EP1 by Bunker 3 From a studio in a deserted building behind The Forum, Sheffield. Andrew, David & Jules composed music within a stone's throw from FON Records, a shop that became the first WARP Records store. FON stood for Fuck Off Nazis and Sheffield stood for its own unique style of techno. Bunker Studios consisted of a massive old mixing desk, Yamaha monitors, a handful of Korg and Roland outboard synths and drum machines, and an Akai S3000. EP1 is a collection of tracks at at this magical time by three 20 year old electronic music fanatics who had been plugged into LFO, Forgemasters, Cabaret Voltaire, Mr Fingers and Detroit's pioneers of the electronic gro…

Finally back at it, after a long hiatus. Finished this new track just last night: https://ambermonk.bandcamp.com/track/yandere-pontifex Unfortunately for some reason I am unable to embed the BC player at this time. Regardless, I started writing this back in May thru July, but the last two weeks is when I've really been on the grind to finish it up. So here we are. Hope you guys don't find this one too cringe. Happy New Year.

Hello, i just recently finished a track that seems to be heavily influenced by much of the music i saw Aphex Twin play at Day for Night in Houston. The strongest examples i could give would be Jlin, Qebrus and Sd Laika. I hope you guys enjoy! https://soundcloud.com/dollarstore-keyboard/cult-45

Just wanna share a podcast I've been listening to, with Will Sasso and Chad Kultgen, from MADtv, a comedy actor and a movie writer. Its fun to listen to these guys, they talk about A.I taking over, which I agree that that is happening in these industries atm... They are funny about it too, so I did a few things here and there, memes I guess.... so if you like these, check them out, they do go deep into the A.I talk as well that might interest some of you as well: https://www.facebook.com/groups/dudesypodshow/permalink/810421333807983/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAn9Jo5Sl80 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAn9Jo5Sl80 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v…

hi guys i entered a competition to write an album in may and you got to pick a single and get the public to vote for it so i was wondering if anyone who comes thru here would have a spare 5 mins and vote for me ? that would be marvellous . the track is here i realise this has guitars in it and isnt really IDM but hopefully you could look at it as an IDM fan making a guitar record or something ? idk that sounds horribly cheesy but you know i try. also if you can you can vote for my track at the VERY bottom of the page here : https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScPIFcEdbs2MAbVeZU4t4GYM-yxx8C8XGJCkdKmmOzwghRLaw/viewform i would …

Hi, I'm new to the forum and wanted to share some recent music I've been making, and hopefully get some opinions about the style/genre. I'm not very active on social media (barely even on soundcloud), nor is there a network of musicians I'm friends with. In fact, I haven't shared most of my music with anyone really, hence the lack of confidence to describe it. I'd say there are influences of Warp artists, Vangelis, Ulrich Schnauss, some Chemical Bros, Julianna Barwick, and the 80's. If you wouldn't mind taking a listen, this is a private share to a SC playlist, as I'm not ready to make it public (well, aside from this public). WATMM Playlist Thanks f…

Hey. Just wanted to share my latest system with you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZprUqsLOyQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8wgWWOHiqM A couple of examples of what happens when you combine the last particle oscilloscope I shared, with Stable Diffusion. I still can’t believe how good this tool is. We’re living in crAIzy times, folks. Be sure to fasten those seat belts. You can access this oscilloscope, plus quite a few more TouchDesigner project files, tutorials and experiments through: https://linktr.ee/uisato

Had a jam with a minimal setup over a little sequence i made on the SQ-1. First time running the Neutron through a chorus - I quite like the tone. What do think?

*taps microphone* It's been a few years since I posted music actively. I've dallied with different setups and it's starting to come together, but having the right inspiration is probably a bigger deal. Some difference in workflow and my focus is on a more H/W-centric jammy process (looks like I'm not alone in that shift). The dream of going DAWless is alive but multitracking is so handy. The loudness war was apparently won (hooray) and dynamic range is a good thing. I try to refrain from excessive fiddling. Other than that, just having fun and laying grooves down. Expect a varied output as usual!

Hello everybody. I usually make Braindance influenced music mixed with a lot of different styles. If you like μ-Ziq, Plaid, Global Goon, the rhythm section of Magma or melodies and atmospheres similar to The Residents, then you might dig it. Would love to hear your impressions, opinions or feedback! https://nkujarks.bandcamp.com https://www.youtube.com/@nkujarks4267 https://archive.org/details/@rethinkingtheprocess
