I'm going to copy Glomewav's idea and just deposit my music/music videos on this one thread. This last one's a repeat of a previous post, adding it here for completeness's sake and because I like it so damn much:

Didn't know where to post this, but played a live set last week for the first time in ages - and I enjoyed it!

I had briefly explored the sonic territory with pulsating sine waves that the likes of Ryoji Ikeda and Aoki Takomasa mastered. I still use such sounds in my tracks, mostly for textures. I had made a short EP that is all based on pulsating sine waves (and some FM as well), most of this was done in Max/MSP with small sequencing and layering touches.

Well actually two at different times. They aren't mine. I don't think it's worth it since I have access to other people's Disclaviers, who know more people with them if I ever want to try out different ones. Made a lot of these with a basic piano synth to nail down the melody. Then took the midi to the disk as I usually only had a day or sometimes two to make the track.

Processed the hell out of a short guitar recording thru different shades of static and some granular processing. I like the melancholic vibes it ended up having.

I'm a genre butterfly. Usually very melodic. I have a go at IDM | breaks | ALT-POP | ambient | D&B/jungle. I gave up on getting any sort of label exposure long ago. I played in a band called Jilk for a long time. That stuff is widely available online. MELODIC IDM ALT-POP BREAKS / INSTR HIP HOP AMBIENT

Album entirely recorded using archaic recording devices. Any thoughts?

This piece started off with me making drones out of a short bass recording. On top of the bass drones, I added some barely-there orchestration using IRCAM's Orchidea (a Max/MSP patch). I also generated some gestures using FM/physical modeling/granular synthesis for a sense of adventure. For FM synthesis I hacked an existing Max/MSP patch of mine. For physical modeling, I used IRCAM's Modalys lib. Only a witch cat can close a door...

For the section in the middle, I'm planning on doing a lot more with the beat and maybe replacing the synths. But I'm probably just going to end up writing more sections. Any suggestions?

yes it's far too noisy at the start. the audio is going straight from the interface into the camera. also it would have been good if the guitar fretboard was visible in the first part of the video. had a lot of fun doing this. any thoughts?

Fellows WATMMers, I've just started exploring TidalCycles and it might be the best thing ever to happen to my music (that's sheer enthusiasm hehe), I'm having fun again composing and that's fucking amazing :D I'd love to have 45/60minutes of material by the end of the year and to start playing live again / select best bits for an EP/LP/whatever. I'll post jams and experiments here. Here's my 2nd jam ever using TC, likely to be reworked later. Hope you'll like it!

I've recently taken a break from my unorthodox sequencing experiments with Max/MSP and headed into a more glitchy territory with fuzzy/granular textures. This one turned out to be more rhythmic compared to the rest of the tracks in the album. Lovers of broken beats and glitch - I'm all ears on what you think about it ? https://delikuvveti.bandcamp.com/track/dhre
