Shit this guy is such a slut in terms of trying to supplant his career by collaborating with everyone on earth. But then, he's mixed up with the fucking Kardashians, so how smart is that? I can connect Richard James to Kim in 3 people lol Rich>Chris Cunningham>Kanye West>Kim

(Chuck Manson was like a proto-Vincent Gallo...some of it is, admittedly, really fucking good oh what could have been) (Jim Jones' People's Temple Choir...great stuff) (David Koresh, on the other hand, sucked...that DI guitar sound lol) it's suprisingly hard to search for music by cults and cult-leaders, as there are bands called both The Cults and Cult Leaders

live hardware performances recorded in a box watching this one now randomly, never heard of this guy or the others so far (i'm not in the know) but pretty cool stuff. Speedy J has a set himself but i haven't checked it out yet, and i imagine the artists he's pulling in are more on this dirty techno tip? full playlist lnk:

Underworld were probably the people who initially really turned me on to electronic music in a serious way. Both 'Dubnobasswithmyheadman' and 'Second Toughest In The Infants' are triumphs of what can be done musically within the constraint of electronic music. Deep, technical albums. The many supporting EPs that were released along side them were huge, significant remixes - many of which could have served as the main body of work for any other artist. 'Beaucoup Fish' released in '98 and was a more dance floor orientated album. Rhythmically and tonally a departure from the earlier material but still very much recognisable. Many tracks being a twist on straight techno.…

I've been listening to a lot of noise music this past year, and decided now would be a good time to dedicate a thread to it. By noise, I mean power electronics, harsh noise, industrial (the more experimental non-EBM variety) and more abrasive avant-garde music. But feel free to post anything in the general spirit of noise here, be it noise rock or whatever. As long as it's good and noisy post it here. I was lucky enough to pick up two Thirteen Hurts CDs at this year's Victoria Noise Fest, both of which are top notch amazing noise albums. This is a video of him recording one track off of his Chemtrails album: Unfortunately it's tough to find anything …

I've been really digging J Dilla - Donuts and Dr. No's Oxperiment lately (both of which were recommended from folks here at WATMM). I want more in this vein. Hit me up with some suggestions. Yes, I have both Flying Lotus albums and the new Vibert.

So my mate from school days has released a country music album. I don't know much about country, but it is very well produced music with great lyrics and he has a unique voice. Seems to be getting good reviews from the press too. Anyone here dig this stuff? Specifically Americans? Ags lives in rural Oxfordshire and so its pretty cool to be getting recognised by some of the American radio stations that are playing his tunes. Just wondered if there are any watmm hillbillies and what their opinions are. http://agsconnolly.com/?page_id=103 This is a recording from a local gig I went to a couple of weeks back h…

Hello. I am looking to diversify my collection of records to trip by. I've seen threads like this on reddit and other places but mostly finding superficial or obvious suggestions. So I turn to you WATMM. Could you fine folks recommend a few deep albums to psychonaut by, particularly while peaking? No genre restrictions apply, could be a soundtrack for some full power booty shaking or a more sombre entheogenic explorations. I'll start with a hat-tip for a stone cold classic and something a little different.
