Clark
Clark may be a relative newcomer to the electronic music scene, but in the short time he's been around, his prolific releases have proven he's got the quantity and the quality to match his elder statesmen.

Favourite Live Tracks

I've seen the man once live, but I when he dropped his Maximo Park remix it was pretty great. It had just come out and I was all over it, so it really went off. Also, Luxman Furs was great. It had a beatless intro, which was cool, and then he went into a heavy metal track and from their into SebastiAn's "Dog". Killer combo. A shame he didn't play Growl's Garden. What's your's?

Last night, after realizing that there's a Clark subforum now, I was talking about Clark with someone and wanted to show them the Body Riddle mini-site. But, it seems like it (used to be at http://throttleclark.com/bodyriddle) is now GONE. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to deal with this hole in my life. Nobody grabbed it off the site did they? It's archived on web.archive.org but only sans audio and without the index.swf which linked all the little parts together.

For some reason I don't have anything by Clark. I've heard bits and peices but what I have heard has never grabbed me. I put this down to me not investing enough time and effort and perhaps choosing the wrong tracks. Could you recommend perhaps half a dozen killer tunes which will save me navigating my way through his back catalogue? A bit lazy I know but I got so much else to listen to at the moment I just need a WATMM's user friendly guide to make my life a bit easier. If the tracks you recommend blow my socks off then I know I need to have a proper listen to everything else. Thanks.

Is it just me or does this photo (from Clark's MySpace page) look like it's "moving"??? Whenever I first saw it, I thought it was a really smooth animated .gif that looked like it was "zooming in" really slowly on the image. wtf

A new addition to the planned list of cities, Warp20 visits Berlin for two nights at the legendary Berghain. Last Friday 4th December saw Battles take their new songs to Germany for the first time with specially-invited guests. This forthcoming Friday (11th December) is an all-night rave across both Berghain and Panorama Bar, bringing the year of Warp20 parties to a fitting finale. Please note the rare opportunity to be able to buy tickets in advance for the Berghain/Panorama Bar - so make sure to grab one if you want to get in easily. I love electronic music and feel like I've heard a fair share of it. With that said I feel like Chris Clark is making some of the best electronic music right now as well as some of the best I've heard. Now I know this opinion isn't the general consensus around this board at all. Perhaps this is a naive opinion? Maybe I just haven't heard some of the other great shit happening right now? Maybe it's all just personal taste. But this thread is to help educate me, and share opinions. So... With the subforum artists aside... who do you think is the best or is your favorite in contemporary experimental electronic music? Who do you feel holds a candle to the subforum gr…
