I went through some old c-cassettes and 80's and 90's commercials for sampling material. The spooky piano samples in tracks 1. and 4. are my old piano teacher. She used to record her playing to cassettes for me to learn from. Mainly done on Maschine. Editing, mixing etc. on Cubase. so i made this yesterday. i took songs i made between 2004/2008, cut out parts i liked and turned them into weirdness by streching and manging and keyshifting and feeding into effects. than edited it together into one long piece. it was, like, 6 hours of pure fun. Greetings WATMM. Thought i'd throw out this album i've been working on for the past couple years here, because I think a few might enjoy some of the moods and feelings it creates. Influences are- BoC, Machine Drum, Apparat. And a million others. Have had some bad luck with some labels and it was very frustrating with other releases, so I will no longer search out labels to release my music, just self-release. Anywho, here's an album I've been working on for the past month or so. It's my first ever LP, so it's a pretty neat milestone for me. I'm pretty new to the world of producing so this was very much a big learning process for me, but it turned out being fun as hell to make. It draws close comparisons to the likes of radiohead, flying lotus, mum, etc. I'd love some critiques on the production work, since that's what I'm most freaked about. Everything I know about producing is me studying…
