EKT New Releases
Just finished a new EP or LP you'd like to share or announce to your fellow EKTers? This is the place for it! Please only post about "finished" works, no one-off tracks or WIPs - that's better suited for YLC or EKT General Discussion. Also, if your works appear on a compilation, be sure to get the permission of the compilation owner before posting any links to download tracks - yours or the compilation in general.

Hello all Recently joined, love the quality of music on this forum. I released my debut LP on Keysound Recordings a few months ago and it's had a pretty polarising response. I kinda hate writing about it myself so stealing Boomkat's review of it (mostly for the use of the word swang): https://boomkat.com/products/space-between-stars-6e128469-6bf3-43ac-b746-d97d3d2cd580 London’s Lyeform scales up his sound with widescreen scope in ‘Space Between Stars’, his debut longform release, via Dusk & Blackdown’s Keysound. For the first three tracks you may be wondering if this is the same Keysound behind stacks of garage, grime and dubstep…

This has taken me quite a lot of time to get nicely (haha) polished and done while still keeping on doing all weekly beats things and other stuff going on in my life. I hope at least some of you may like it although it really is not braindance or IDM or anything really experimental in that sense.

https://eryngi.bandcamp.com/album/ambivalent2metacontent made this last night, longform melodic drone/ambient/noise ish stuff. live trackpad twiddling, one take, all mistakes left in.. except track 3 is from another time.. i wanted to do something more raw than my usual, just hit record on tape and go, no chance of going back to fix automation etc.

So, an old jamming buddy and I got in a hacked-together DIY space in Sydney for a single day last September with an absurd pile of recording gear, drums, loopers, a Synthstrom Deluge, a couple of racks of modular, some guitars, and a Mod Duo running custom DSP, and we somehow ended up with most of an album. It traces a weird line from live beats-y electronica to apocalyptic dub via super-distorted post-rock, and here's a bit of a taste of it: Full album out in March. Teaser video: Thanks for listening!

Evening doods. Legitimately chuffed to release what I believe will be one of the best braindance albums of 2020. "Porbulation Gold (previously featured in our IDM VA album) has great skill in building up tracks in an emotive way that I haven't really heard since early Wisp. His musicality and ability to let the music flow into new and interesting areas sets him apart from his contemporaries who are often happy to create a few of loops and transition them with little care." We hope you enjoy this truly special album. You can follow PG here > soundcloud.com/thebilecollector The artist receives 100% of any money made from this album. This isn't…

https://nopartofit.bandcamp.com/album/civil-war BLOOD RHYTHMS is an ongoing and constantly morphing collective spearheaded by veteran experimental artist and Chicago native Arvo Zylo. The unit's new LP, CIVIL WAR began its conceptual impetus before its vinyl debut, 2014's ASSEMBLY, which was a layered whale song / locomotive stomp of brass & wind instruments recorded in a meat locker, released in collaboration with RRRECORDS. In 2010, after a few years of makeshift group performances delivering noisy, loop-based industrial drones as a brass ensemble, and inevitably growing to incorporate a series of damaged synth/junk metal outings, the group's official d…

this album has had a few updates, i added 9 more tracks to compile 31 tracks total, hope you enjoy! Sigh Language is a love letter to the homies, and when I say homies I mean family, because my friends have showed me way more compassion than my own immediate family, this album is very personal to me and it fucked me up a great deal to put myself out there like this. How do I tell my friends that I love them and that they mean the world to me? Through my art. This is just another hybrid album of mine of different styles that combine all my favorite elements of music, art, life and and most importantly, Love. This album release didn't go as planned, as I was planning to…

Hi, I make computer music, IDM stuff. I thought this might be a good place to share it. I've been a Wattm lurker off and on for about 14 years, so I know how serious you guys can be about electronic music. Keeping this in mind I'm sharing this link mostly to open up lines of communication, etc. as no one where I live is into this kind of stuff. I've put out music on Terminal 11's Sunwarped label and Phthalocyanine's Phthalo and Halo Cyan labels, so I'm relatively serious about electronic music. If you like my music I give you a big thanks for checking it out. This is surely spam, sorry, but it's completely relevant imo + I need to meet some electronic music people, I live…

Hi, Happy to announce my latest work is now available, The Last Ambient Christmas. Available digitally and as a super limited CD, it's a Christmas album that's more than a little bit different. You don't have to like Christmas music or even Christmas in general to get something out of this one. Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals.
