i found this blog cataloging some deliciously gross food concoctions...which i ended up remembering my own messed up creations, like about 8 or 9 years ago i worked at arby's and i used to create the most insane sandwiches, that included everything, chicken bacon swiss, tons of roast beef, ham, cheese sauce, bbq sauce, bacon, chicken fingers, etc. basically the only thing it didnt have was the breakfast food ebcause the one reastaurant i worked at didn't have breakfast even though other chains did which is kind of weird...the food is supposed to expire after a certain time so everyone just ate it when the timers ran out, also there was lots of fun with the deep friers...m…

Today I bought Flesh Creepers: Volume 1 Zombie Double feature. The first on the DVD is Night of the living dead by George A Romero. The second on the DVD is Revenge of the zombies by Steve Kelly. May we take this oppurtunity to talk about anything Zombie related and just talk Zombies non-stop because lets face it, they are very fucking kool right? I paid £1 for this DVD. Is 28 weeks later worth buying?

It was fucking awesome. they played an unforgettable show. the first opening band blew balls pretty fucking hard and like fags, but the second band was a bunch of little boys who looked no more than 16 years old that tore it up. apparently theyre signed to Nuclear Blast. Met their bass player who was hanging out in front of the merchandise table holding a flying v guitar for some reason. good guys. But holy shit did rotting christ tear it up. played all the hits. will post pictures as soon as i get em from my friend. ps i know nobody here gives a shit. but i'm excited.

When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone, When you're sure you've had enough of this life, well hang on Don't let yourself go, 'cause everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes Sometimes everything is wrong. Now it's time to sing along When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on) If you feel like letting go, (hold on) When you think you've had too much of this life, well hang on 'Cause everybody hurts. Take comfort in your friends Everybody hurts. Don't throw your hand. Oh, no. Don't throw your hand If you feel like you're alone, no, no, no, you are not alone If you're on your own in this life, the days and nights ar…

i had just gotten off my first shift at the restaurant, and decided to stick around and have a meal before my next shift. i was just about to go outside when i caught wind of some commotion and heard the phrase "she's choking". i went to a table where a daughter was trying to talk to her mother who was unresponsive, choking to death on her meal. i started to dial 911 when a coworker informed me that the manager was already doing so. not knowing what else to do, i went back to the table and the daughter and i grabbed the mother and placed her on the floor. i attempted CPR, breathing life into the woman, trying to press it out. after what seemed like 10 minutes, but was pro…

The Baseline Effect: The key to happiness. One property of human consciousness that does not appear to be very self evident to us at first is the idea of 'baseline' you see, everything that happens to us in our life that we can rate in any way is going to be compared to our baseline. Our baseline is essentially composed of every single memory of every event that has occurred in our life. If we lead poor miserable lives, our baseline is going to be considerably low, however, if we lead incredibly successful and very luxurious lives, our baseline is going to be set considerably higher. What does that mean to you? Consider this: We always hear abo…

Is it just me or is this movie more of a comedy than a serious drama? :undecided: I was in stitches during many scenes. When Rourke was sitting down with his opp. in the ring just handing out bitch slaps, him having the supermarket job/thumb accident. Great stuff. Had me in tears. Nice office-esque scene with the autograph signing too. Afterwards I called my friend and told him I thought it was the best comedy ever made. Confusion ensued when I found out it was intended as a drama. Seriously. It's not a drama. It's a damn (good) comedy. Or a shitty movie.

Fucki'n I Miss You by "Bjork". Heard it when it first came out and i was like 8 and it got stuck in my head so bad that i started bawling when i went to bed because i could not sleep due to the fucking horns and her fucking voice in that song. it ruined my life and freaked my mom out cause i was screaming and crying because i had a song stuck in my head and i wanted nothing more than to have it gone. she turned on the radio and sang to me and everything; i think i finally fell a sleep cause i was exhausted. she didn't know what to do. to this day i havent' listened to that song and have serious issues with listening to bjork. any songs give you some kind of l…

So is it okay to like "acid?" 1 2 3 4
by Guest Panoptimist- 91 replies

I'm an electronic music noob, really. I love "this side of the tracks" and will always be listening in this area. However, once my sound interests brought me to the 303 and it's history, I became "entranced" by a lot of the "old school acid house." Simple, yeah, but something about it. One of my truly favorite sounds. So, again, being new to the whole scene, and having an interest in making some sounds myself, where's the line drawn? What's okay? I mean, Exillon is tearin' shit up... You guys are the best to ask. Inform me.
