UPDATE: I created this topic from the off-topic discussion happening in the WATMM memes topic, so that thread can continue as it was before all this blew up. I just had to remove 47 posts regarding Fred's banning - the rules clearly state that if you have a question about someone's banning or suspension, to contact me regarding it, and not to create a thread or pollute other threads with off-topic discussion. If it continues, then the epic hilarity of this thread will come to an unfortunate close. I've said it before, I will say it again - if you cannot operate within the rules of the forum, then you have no business here - I don't think it's too much to ask fo…

"..An electrode connector and electrodes are then glued on to the insect's body and a needle is used to poke a hole in their thorax in order to insert a wire. Their antennae are then cut and electrodes are inserted. A circuit is attached to their backs, and signals are received through a mobile phone app allowing users to control the cockroaches' movements to the left and to the right." http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-24455141

Like.. how do you find new stuff? Most of my things are found through online communities stuff.. (which is mostly reddit at the moment, has been 4chan in the past but that's a total shithole at the moment has always been a total shithole). So, newssites? Google search? other search tubes? Some new way of exploration I have never heard of? I'd like to break free of some routines.

" Stanford professors Chris Chafe and Josef Parvizi have transformed brain activity from seizure patients into music. This composition details the three main phases of a seizure. Calmness turns into chaos during the actual seizure, before trailing off into a recovery phase. The work could lead to a powerful biofeedback tool for identifying brain patterns associated with seizures." Nothing to add, just cool stuffffffff.

Over the last few weeks in my spare time I've been working on this with a couple of friends (one of which is the other guys from cubus - he's the guy in the film). It's was created for 'Well Done U' - The Kermode and Mayos Film Review short film competition ("Create a short original film, no more than 2 minutes in duration, which meets the British Board of Film Classification's (BBFC) U classification.) Soundtrack by cubus (natch ) (best if watched full screen and in HD - especially if you have a nice big screen)

Translated from Ekstra Bladet: http://ekstrabladet.dk/flash/filmogtv/film...icle1169107.ece The article kind of spoils alot of the scenes so I won't tell what happens, but from what I've read it sounds pretty damn sick - and pretty damn awesome. I will give you a couple of hints though... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «Clitoris + scissors, something pointy + erected penis, and bloody orgasm Here's the trailer for those of you who haven't seen it: Trailer I'm going to watch it on wednesday and I hope this is Lars Von Trier's trip back to evil land.

I'm sure this will be easy as pie for one (all) of you. (But I'm preparing to smash up my pc with a sledge hammer), because for some reason my pc no longer recognises me plugging me in my bog standard sony mp3 player (which just runs off windows media player). A million times I just put my mp3 player onto the synch window on WMP. It recognises it, it calcalates how much memory left and then I drag, drop and synch. Easy, peasy. However today it does nothing (it doesn't even charge, but charges from the main adaptor from the wall). I've goggled a few things and tried some stuff off a few forums but its failing and my patience is dwindling. I've tried a few things (devi…

*WATMM SECRET SANTA 2012* Please PM me your full postal address (and real name) by Sunday December 9th 15:00 GMT. Once we have confirmed numbers I will randomly assign everyone an address and the fun can begin. In these times of austerity, the gifts should be low in cost (or whatever you can afford) but high in LUSH factor. Gifts need to be sent out *relatively* quickly if you want to receive them before Christmas, although since WATMM is a worldwide community and not everybody celebrates Christmas it is not an entirely fixed deadline.
