Most IDM 2013. This is all filmed, no computer animation. Done with projectors and robots.

Just did a forum search, there is a fair amount of chatter about Dexter. I only just discovered it, and normally I get my TV recommendations from watmm, the wire for instance but hadn't heard enough about this. Its really good, touches on some amazing subjects from a totally opposite view point from the norm. I'm about halfway through season 3 and he has just helped his friend die from lung cancer. Its got quite the character build as well from season 1 where he is just doing things to stay in character as a "normal person." So for any other WATMM'ers like me maybe in the UK, if you haven't given Dexter a try then do!

Being direct 1 2
by J3FF3R00- 49 replies

I am currently involved in a project with some friends and it seems I am the only person that doesn't have a problem being direct with my thoughts, feelings, advice, feedback and intentions. I feel being direct shows respect and is ultimately the best thing for everyone involved... granted, without being insulting to anyone or getting over emotional about things. That is important. I feel like at least one of my collaborators avoids being direct, in fear of coming across as mean. In effect, she ends up wasting people's time and complicating nearly every situation. Another person in the group (he's British), fancies himself a genius. He seems like he doesn't respe…

Looks interesting and has a good IMDB score. A murder in 1944 draws together the great poets of the beat generation: Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs.

Here's a thread to post your word based art (if there's an existing thread I haven't seen it come up recently). To start things off I'll post some of my absurdist stream of consciousness stuff (but all different kinds of poetry should be welcome [within the rules]). Rippled indigo tar-sands from the offical Sponge-Henge replica site can actually funnel the vibraphonic sneer energies of agitated lolgif communities onto/into the Balkanised frothy wind-farm tropics of intrauterine cancer where the lost wandering design consultancies rapidly swing their labido enzyme pink-lists north-easterly over the faulty tooth-beds in keeping with the gummy share-a-like proj…

Another season! Can't wait to see how they use the Human Centipede to take the piss out of iPads. Should they continue taking the piss out of everything or should they call it quits before they run out of steam? I'd like to think that they could continue but some of the episodes over the last 2 or 3 seasons have been sub par. But that is only "some" Hmmmm. Discuss?

A single sperm contains 37.5 MB of DNA information. One ejaculation represents a data transfer of 15,875 GB, equivalent to the combined capacity of 62 MacBook Pro laptops. A single human male produces enough sperm in two weeks to impregnate every fertile woman on the planet. After these facts, I think I can confirm that IDM will take over the world. We can do it! :D

so i've started to get pretty keen on buying vinyl, but sometimes when i speak to those more "in the know" they'll tell me that not everything is worth buying on vinyl and in fact i'm better off buying the album on CD instead. what are your thoughts on this?

So the sequel to Amnesia: The Dark Descent just got released about two weeks ago. I've been looking forward to this for quite a bit, considering the original Amnesia is probably the scariest game I have played to date, and AMFP got delayed like a year or so. I thought I dedicate it its own thread since some people might have missed it. A friend got it for me for my birthday and I just started playing, am about 4 hours into the game now (people say it's only 6 hours long but I barely even saw anything, I'm a slow player as always) - so far, some good ideas and some not-so-good ideas. Story seems deep and the notes are pretty well written. Curious to see how it all turn…

This morning I woke up completely alone in a one-room 1960s Soviet-style apartment in a post-industrial city in Latvia 4016 miles from my nearest friends and family and this was the view from the front window: This got me wondering, what has been the most IDM moment of your life so far?

Personally i'd be the sooner the better. I was surprised that george galloway was against it and when quizzed (by max keiser) he could only come up with reasons like the UK parliament would be stuck forever tory because a great deal of labour MPs come from scotland. It is a shame that this didn't happen before all the north sea oil started running out, still though, perhaps being northern european country with a more egalitarian streak, it may be shaky at first but you'll pull together and streak ahead of your cousins in the south. (yes i know that salmond is centre right or something, but didn't he do well because of his independence stance, rather than everything else. …

ok, let me give you the lowdown. ive been struggling with jeans for several years now. i can almost never find a pair of good fitting jeans. ive been to countless stores, looked at so many jeans, tried so many on, and can never find a pair of jeans that fit me, in all aspects of comfort. so, the only luck ive had, has been finding random jeans in vintage and thrift clothing stores. sometimes i luck out and find a pair of jeans that are just absolutely perfect. this has happened maybe 3 or 4 times over the last few years. anyway, the last time it happened, a few months ago, i was in a thrift shop, and found this pair of Vans jeans that are just perfect for my body. i c…

I've had what could be described as a bit of a shit time of things lately. I've been worried about my mum, she's been under a lot of financial pressure and her husband has recently suffered a stroke. As any good son would do, I've tried to help out where possible financially, but I'm not exactly paid well and things have been getting a bit tight. Yesterday I found out my car transmission is dead and was quoted an insane amount to fix it. Yesterday evening, I was ready to punch a wall. Today, my dad helped me out and took me to his friend, who is in the car trade and I have just scored myself a very presentable second hand car for a really nice price. When h…
