Post your favourite supermarket lollies/candy from your part of the world. The variety of centres in the Cadbury Snack are good, except I don't like the Turkish Delight. I eat it anyway: Honey comb covered in chocolate, so sickly delicious: Next is a strange choice for me. I hate cherry anything, but I love Cherry Ripe bars. I cannot explain it: Cadbury Whip is like a Mars Bar, but better: Allen's snakes, jubey goodness: I'm also partial to licorice covered in dark chocolate (called bullets here), but only tend to buy these from handmade chocolate shops (bit expensive)

now, I know there's a thread for this already in 'upcoming releases' but loads of y'all don't check that, and since it's for a good cause I thought it was worth mentioning over here as well. it's SO close to hitting the target so I'm giving it another push on teh interwebs, so if any of you can spare a couple of quid / dollars and get some damn good music for the effort, that would be awesome. a compilation of tracks - from the likes of LFO, Ben Sims, Luke Vibert, Global Goon, Slipmatt, and many more - raising cash for the DEC's East Africa Famine Relief campaign basically - it's free to download, and you can choose to donate as much as you please (either via…

What do you think? Have you checked it out? I think it could be a begining of a great new era. A time where all people are equal... equal with ads, cat videos and actual information. Interesting times. By the way, if anybody has an invite (to trade maybe?), pm me plz.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1Nd1qtk1Go This walkway was built around the steep walls of a gorge in El Chorro, over 100 years ago. It was already very narrow, but it's now so decayed and derelict that walking along it is one of the deadliest challenges in the world. However, some people have been brave enough to attempt it. The ones who survive post YouTube videos like this. I salute them.

let's get your usernames and be fuck buddies, for once and for all. we can paint the e-town a beautiful hue of digital red, running down the internet sidestreets and motherboard alleys, beaming virtual warcries and reposts of cat gifs. on reddit, i am jamesworks and dirtyworks. unless this devolves into a thread of ban-worthy photos, i don't see this thread being too interesting, but we need to get this out of the way, seriously.

http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/article/1048993--leaks-show-u-s-swayed-canada-on-copyright-bill?bn=1 Goddamn this pisses me off. I am no fan of piracy, but neither can I advocate the extreme measures this bill proposes, nor the punishments as currently sought by the CRIA sorry, "Music Canda".

So something happened to me today that resulted in a lot of people that I had no idea were spiritual people saying "you are in my prayers," "your family is in our prayers," "i'm praying for you," etc etc. It got me thinking, let's say you don't believe in god or prayer or faith or ghosts and things of that nature. Let's say that your beliefs are based on the limits of human knowledge and observation. How do you take such a comment? Do you think "ew, back off jesus freak," or are you genuinely flattered that someone cares for you in their own irrational way of dealing with things?

Updated the forum software yesterday, and apparently among the other bugfixes, they finally fixed the tags (clicking on a tag now provides search results, whereas before it would return nothing). This also raises the question of whether we should have a pre-set tag system (only choose from tags we provide) or allow each person to tag their posts as they see fit (assuming nobody else spam tags like sup did .
