Do you react or do you ignore? 1 2 3 4
by Guest Promo- 84 replies

I ignore mostly. That said I did have this guy try and pick a fight with me about 2 weeks ago. How it almost kicked off was I was literally crossing the road and the light was green and he kept going on his bike and almost knocked me over. After he passed I said something "what the fuck!". Anyways I see him turn around "then I'm thinking okay this dude is angry lol". Anyways as he comes back he gets right in my face and was saying "what did you say etc". I said to him "what, are you gonna attack me is that it?" plus I'm thinking "how fucked up is this person?". I did try to calm him down as I see he needed to vent but he was persistent. In the end I said "look you wi…

Hello. I have failed to cut my hair since November, apart from a horrific moment when I thought it would be a clever idea to cut my fringe with some kitchen scissors. Over this time I have grown quite fond of my locks but feel that a cut is essential as it is now nigh on impossible to control even with the help of (and I never thought it would come to this) hair straighteners. I'd like to get the hair even longer, but I don't know if the thickness is essential for this. What did you do? What tools and products do you use? And just how beautiful is your long hair? Here is my barnet fair at the beginning of June which I'd like to improve upon, which obviously won't be d…

I came here from the Plaid website which links to this forum. I was shocked such a thing exists. I am happy be here. I am traveling a bit now for the past year and went to London last fall for the first time ever (even in the UK!) to see the Plaid show at Koko. It was out of this world fantastic and I had a great week and fell in love with Camden Town and hope to be back soon! Looking for some good shows in Europe and Asia in the next few months as I need to renew some visas by moving around a bit, so I'm looking forward to having my finger on the pulse. I do miss the old milkfactory forums, so if anyone else is from there let it be known so we can reminisce a…

I'm addicted to shitty food. this is just out of hand. i swear to god these shitty foods [frozen food, fast food, chips, dips, basically a large amount of what constitutes unhealthy food] have a seriously addicting quality on me. i'm sure it's like that for everyone. for me though now that i'm trying to get healthy i'm noticing that it's actually genuinely difficult to stop eating this fucking SHIT!!!!! this website claims that it is a major issue and i agree headline: Food Addiction: Could It Explain Why 70 Percent of Americans Are Fat? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dr-mark-hyman/food-addiction-could-it-e_b_764863.html …

If you're a Tabasco® addict, the ultimate kitchen condiment has arrived for you: Tabasco®'s gallon jug. There's the miniature bottle (for slipping into handbags, obviously), the standard 75ml bottle that we all know and love, and even the 350ml bottle for die-hard fans. But now, for the Tabasco® pepper sauce fanatic, there is the gallon jug. Yes people, a gallon. How long this lasts you, depends entirely on the level of pepper sauce appreciation you have, but one thing's for sure - this bottle is huge. It's not even called a bottle in fact, being referred to instead as a jug. A jug of hot Tabasco® pepper sauce. How many bloody mary's can you tart up with a gallon of …

So, I've been after getting Stalker for quite a while now but never have got round to it. I've been waiting for this collection to come out for about a year and it seems it is finally out. It's currently going on Amazon for £41.79. I just wanna get other peoples opinions as to whether you think it's worth getting as money isn't plentiful right about now. It's got these 7 films on the set with no extras/postcards/booklet etc. Ivan's Childhood (1962) Andrei Rublev (1966) Solaris (1972) The Mirror (1975) Stalker (1979) Nostalgia (1983) The Sacrifice (1986) Please enlighten me with your knowledge of any of these films. Ta muchly.

3 years ago today I was already a member of this forum, on July 4th 2008 I was in hospital with a very short time left to live and they said nothing could be done, liver failure. A truely hopeless acoholic. 5 months later, on December the 1st I ended up in treatment with a liver barely functioning, aged 21. In one month from now I turn 24, and today I live sober and happy (although it hasn't been an easy journey, with many relapses, for the most part I have been sober). WATMM has been quite a big part of my life and I know, it's just an internet forum. It's what I've gained from the people here, outside of the forum though as well as this place providing many lols and fa…

I'm a fan of their work but there comes a point when becomes a black square I'm not starting this thread to stir anything negative towards the company - they've put out some great covers I'm thinking ETBOY - more to take it in two directions to discuss their output, and to have a go at recreating their aesthetic (whatever that is). so, in celebration of all things great/uninteresting about TDR, post something of your own or something you've found that fits the bill

Just had the idea of making that topic : what is the city you live in and what do you think about it ? You can also talk about the different cities you lived in and make some comparisons. Here I go : ______________________________________ At the moment I'm doing a training period in Paris, France, and feel a bit mixed about it. Sure a lot of things happen there and people are relatively more exposed to culture than in other French cities. The ethnic mix up is also way more marked. BUT life looks just hard in Paris. The prices of the flats are awful and a lot of people live in ridiculous spaces. The average time spent by a Parisian to go from home to…

How do you shave? 1 2
by gaarg- 46 replies

So I have this beard I don't like shaving as it hurts a bit. Maybe because I'm a pussy, maybe because I have bad shaving hardware or maybe it's just supposed to hurt. Anyway I don't like to shave so I have a bit of beard and mustache all the time. Now to the point. My gf loves this beard style, when I only leave a column of hair in the middle of the chin. She kinda persuaded me to do it a couple of times, but don't identify with the look of it as it feels awkwardly gay. I'd still do it because I want her to be happy but hate it too much to do it often. Question follows. "How do you fellow watmmees that are in a relationship (and have growing beards) deal with that…
