Like the world doesn't think Americans are crazy enough with their gun lovin, we have these inbred fucks antagonizing business owners and scaring customers with their intimidating presence. We don't need more Texas stereotypes! http://m.us.wsj.com/articles/BL-WB-46153?ref=/blogs/washwire And yes, they're compensating for small penises.

The "Slender Man" thread reminded me of the legendary entity and urban legend since cro-magnon times: The IDM Man. I dunno why this didn't get coverage in Unsolved Mysteries or an episode of X-Files, but this urban legend can totally be confirmed by prolly hundreds on this forum alone-- thousands the world over. What the IDM Man does, is he gives one dreams of underground music stardom, often mixed with overground pop crossover popularity. The influence of this implantation of dream is so strong, that after visited by IDM Man, one spends at least 10 years straight composing music and spending thousands of dollars/pounds/equiv. on music hardware, software, and roo…

So the pilot leaked. Some of you have to have seen it by now. With the popularity of cable tv and Hannibal, a void has now been filled within NBC's choosing the most horrid vomit in genre shows. This allows for one of the coolest characters in comics to actually have a decent show. The show is all BBC/Doctor Who styled out, with actual suspense, good writing and scary shit. The lead actor fits the part to a tee. This might be the best tribute any film makers have made to Alan Moore, ever! and it is on NBC?!?!?!?!?!?! Anyhow, I hope this thread turns into an interesting read after the show gets running.

Hi guys, I remember reading a while ago on here about some compilation centred around tracks featuring field recordings. I just remembered today this great site for a London sounds library. I heard some at a gig and they were great. http://www.soundsurvey.org.uk/ enjoy!

http://www.roalddahl.com/blog/2014/april/steven-spielberg-to-direct-the-bfg?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=BFGFilmAnnouncement I have high hopes he won't burton it. Dahl is a huge favorite of mine so the travesty of the second chocolate factory movie hurts me.

So I just read Asimov's predictions made 50 years ago, some of which were fairly accurate. Can we go one up one of the greatest scientific minds of recent times, and accurately predict what will happen 50 years from now? Go. 1. Watmm will not exist so the people of 2064 will never know if these become true or not. 2. Toilet paper will be recycled in-house and formed from a hyper antibacterial polymer. 3. Emigration will be outlawed due to mass transit of peoples. Inter continental travel will be restricted in some way. No need to travel for business. 4. Space travel will still be shit but we will have some science colony on the moon or …

On the Jimmy Fallon show, this debuted: Thought this was a Fallon fake trailer, what with the un-graded video camera look, but apparently it's the actual movie. I actually thought it was really funny when I thought it was a mock-up, but then when I realized it wasn't, it makes sense to shoot it like a tv-show from the early 2000's, it takes away any kinda pretensions that newer comedy trailers have, it just looks like shit. Wonder if they'll do it 48fps, ala, The Hobbit home movies? Should have shot it it so it looked like this:

Predator Reboot 1 2

So, apparently they're going to reboot the Predator franchise. http://io9.com/iron-man-3s-shane-black-is-somehow-rebooting-the-predat-1595526619 Shane Black, who played Hawkins in the first movie and is an experienced writer, is beginning work on the screenplay. Hopefully he'll incorporate the past movies as some form of canon and the 'reboot' won't just wipe the universe entirely clean. Or at least that's what I'm hoping. Related video: Jean Claude Van Damme was supposed to play the original Predator creature. Watch this and read up on the situation for extra chuckles. Let the reaction gifs and reboot complaints begin!

Hi, just thought I'd introduce myself - this seems to be the best subforum to do so, but apologies if I've guessed wrong. I'm Quextal. I started DJing and collecting vinyl in the early 90s, and back then I was very into IDM as well as breakbeat hardcore, acid trance, German techno and much else. For the last several years I've majored in psybreaks, prog and glitch-crunk, but tbh I'm getting increasingly bored of it so I'm reconnecting with the IDM scene in the hope of finding something more exciting to play. I do a bit of production from time to time, but I'm more interested in putting together a live set. The sound of the 303 never gets old for me. I use…

Really been enjoying this show. Its very existence illustrates how The Daily Show has pretty much been playing softball since the middle of the latest Bush run. Lee Camp stumbles occasionally on joke delivery, but I'm confident he'll get better at it as the show continues. Fans of Breaking The Set and similar actual news things will probably dig it. 4 episodes so far.

I don't know if this is thread worthy, since it is a simple question, but I would like to hear different opinions about languages that could make me/us a more "professional" worker. I already know english and spanish. But I don't know which one should be my third. Any suggestions? I'm really into digital art/animation/creative artistic stuff in general, so which countries have predominance in those areas? I'm already thinking of german, but I don't like it that much. Thanks a lot in advance.
