i had trouble oozing this one out... i think i kinda got lazy on this mainly cuz my CPU couldnt handle all the vocoders and reverb so i just got fucked off and rushed it... other than that, its dark melodic music. the mastering is pretty wack, again, ill blame that on the CPU. this started off as an experiment, now its a song... i dont like it too much - you? i also have a large amount of songs in the werks... ill post them soon. (its the one in my signature)

How do I make a super snappy kick, like with no delay, and keeping it really punchy? I'm no expert at compression. I'm trying to sort of replicate the kick that Jega uses in alternating bit. CHEERS

Yeah, the topic says it all basically. My parents have agreed to help me buy my beloved Ableton Live 5 for Christmas! But I've left it very late. I need somewhere to order it from who can deliver by Christmas. Any recommendations from the EKT crew! Go on... help save Chrismas! Cheers

Rauwhout - collaboration project with musician
by Guest Shockerbrown- 10 replies
- 1.9k views
Hey guys, How's everybody? (Promo, Mrs Jynx? etc) Ok, not a track of Shockerbrown but a totally new music project: Rauwhout (Rawwood in english). A collaboration with a musician. He's the traditional musician and i'm the electronic artist/producer :) He's also a friend of mine. He's a singer, plays piano and guitar. It was a lot of work to produce a track like this. a lot of layers and samples. Maybe 30 hours work? But we're both very happy with the result :) Here's the link where you can listen: Rauwhout
