The ultimate Bogdan Raczynski "unreleased discography". (aka "The Bogdan Raczynski reverse engineering) //I translate my french with Google translate. Sorry for the misunderstanding// Hello ^_^ This is my first post on watmm In view of a future announced nuclear disaster, I empty my old hard drives on the net. At the moment, I'm posting the complete Bogdan Raczynski release (no licensed only, of course) on a Youtube account. I have many releases without names, without info ... so I decided to recreate his "Unreleased discography". I hope there are big fans among you to help me (or relatives of Bogdan?). Here is the "journal of my research". (note: In case...5 points

Look I can laugh with a lot of religious things, as I did with myself with jews dancing to my music. I also can laugh with the christian rock video since its pretty stupid and the guy in the video needs to look at a few comedy series on netflix so he can laugh again. But I aint going so far to laugh with virgin Mary. I am sorry if that offended anyone but its just the way I roll.3 points

Hello all, This is something I've been wanting to do for a while. As a braindance nerd and self-styled Rephlex archivist, I'd like to invite any and all to join me in a journey through (almost) all of Rephlex's brilliant and varied catalog. There's so much amazing music to revisit and remember, and for most of us, probably stuff we haven't even heard before! This promises to be fun and I hope our discussions prove engaging. Some background: I've got a complete "set" of every Rephlex CD ever put out, which currently sits at ~165 individual releases. Small but mighty. As such, I will be proceeding through each and every...2 points

you have to build it yourself but there's only 8 parts so it's pretty easy.2 points

And now I'm here regretting my choices. This is way too long, acting is walking dead on a bad day -terrible and the suspense is non existent. Visually drab. Hot garbage.2 points

lol holy WTF how did I miss out on this for so many years? Recently grabbed the tracks from the bleepstore. . . Jesus this is so friggin good. You can hear shades of Analord, Drukqs, CTD and also things that link to Syro (some of the funkier FM bass stuff) and maybe even some stuff on Collapse. Redonkulous.1 point

dunno this is a massive post.. don't see that often around here, i haven't heard most of this before though... definitely thanks for sharing!1 point

I don't think so, this was all kicked off by Turkey announcing they were planning on moving on Syria a few days before Trump made his announcement. He's tried to do this before, both in Syria and similarly in Afghanistan. I'm sure he's happy to have the distraction, but he hasn't orchestrated it.1 point

An edgier, noisier Autechre sound overall, from my listening experience. Sometimes sounding like a noisier "Draft 7.30" track or a noisier "Gantz Graf" track. Definitely not smooth-sounding. Also, eczem is not moving from theme-to-theme in a single track as Autechre oftentimes does, and stays on a single theme and explores the different noise combinations within that theme. Nice job overall.1 point

There should be a Riddler movie. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio with a beer gut wearing a stained green t shirt with a question mark on it. He asks people stupid questions, spray paints question marks on everything and gets arrested, and ends in a climactic bum fight on a skyscraper rooftop in Shanghai. The villain will be Batman, played by present day Val Kilmer.1 point

4 new tracks A live recording of a sound installation I was involved with making for this years Supernormal Festival. I made some steel letters that were hung from a frame and amplified / processed. They "jangled" in the wind but we also played them with sticks and threw stones at them. Drone creepiness Drone weirdness Maximum noise with kick drum experiment1 point

Not my cup of tea, but much better composed than the ones before. "Mozex - Happy Tune" does not sound like sonic copypasta. You are on your way now, for sure.1 point

You know I've always found it odd that conservatives like a president who they would HATE to be around if they actually knew someone like him. No one likes a narcissistic sociopath, but for some reason people think they make great authoritarian leaders. I recently asked a conservative buddy of mine why he voted for him and he flat out said "No one voted for Trump for his moral character, they voted for him because he said he would drain the swamp." and I just replied "He is the exact type of person who owns the swamp. Why would you expect this guy with horrible morals to be telling you...1 point

A collaboration with my cousin a few months ago. Realtime/liveset performance. Some of it is more straightforward than what I would normally do. Not sure if I'm feeling the project name, but hopefully we can keep building on this down the line.1 point

People are reading shit into everything these days. It’s a movie. Not a diary. It's a movie about the poor and unfortunate people who are run over by the big guys. But it is 100% Joaquin Phoenix’s movie. He carries the entire movie on his shoulders with ease and extreme grace. He’s amazing.1 point

Sounds like the input on the vocoder in these tracks is going in a different rhythm than the vocals. Am I correct ? The effect sounds really, really cool to me, anyway. It reminds me of Returnal by Oneohtrix Point Never. Vocoded supersaws are a great way of blending vocals into the track without taking focus away from the synths and overall atmosphere, and also colors the aural landscape with recognizable patterns that sound more distant than they should. Wild and Free sounds like it could do with a more detailed bass frequencies, though. Maybe taking away from the sustain on the sine wave and attenuating the 120-200hz range. There's...1 point

Here we go... The main piano riff's a very simple pentatonic melody on the black keys, namely: E♭ D♭ B♭ A♭ B♭, A♭ B♭ D♭ G♭ G♭. The delay does most of the work, as there's a new note every 3rd 16th, and an echo every 2nd 16th, so they don't clash, and it fills in the blanks with what sound almost like new, quieter notes, as delays are wont to do. So you get this beautiful, complex sound from a very simple starting point.1 point

I can't comment on that aspect cause the guy has severe OCD and I have little to no knowledge of how it works and affects people, but you're right in the cherry picking issue and that's why I really want to se his documentary, cause it looks like it'll show more of that other side of him1 point
