  2. One of my go-to breakfasts is an over-easy egg on a piece of toast with either olive oil or butter. Discovering toasting a slice of sourdough on a cast iron skillet with a little olive oil is a complete game-changer... instantly becomes restaurant quality madness. I had also made some some sage butter (super simple: melt a couple tablespoons of butter in a small pan on med/high heat and throw in a few fresh sage leaves after the foam goes down and it starts looking tawny brown then take it off the heat immediately) that I was planning to use as a sauce for pasta but threw in the fridge,...

  5. For anyone interested in how this was made , both auxien and I have elektron A4s and RYTMs. We traded the .syx files back and forth a number of times until we were both satisfied with how the songs were sounding on the machines themselves. Then we basically went about recording and editing the tracks individually until we arrived at the final versions you hear on the EP.

  8. Good afternoon Mr toaoaoad (I just went slightly cross eyed checking how to spell your name ๐Ÿ˜€) The Cure is a top pick, however I would choose this quagmire of sadness The only beacon of light being Primary

  9. this thread is different though, in that posting in it is a political act, a sort of declaration of independence. this thread isn't about dank memes or funny pictures, or whatever dumb shit people like to consume. this thread is about transcending the intellect to access higher truths.

  10. My favourite tracks from each album in the order they occur SIGN: -M4 Lema; It's kind of a synopsis of Autechre's career in a single beautiful cut that I believe would still prove more accessible to newcomers than most of their material since Confield) -si00; Some genuinely new territory for the brothers 'chre to my ears -au14; Giving the longtime fans what they want, fanservice in the best way possible plus some new vibes, and I absolutely love it -sch.mefd 2; More fanservice more new sounds. The space and panning on this one is nuuuuts -th red a & r cazt; My favourite of the drone/beatless based pieces on this...

  16. i really hate to wade into all this but it looks like you're deliberately conflating two things to try to pwn zeff. what you're describing is training in a craft, developing skills step by step and moving on to the next aspect of the work once you have sufficiently demonstrated your abilities with the expected goal that you attain the outcome of the sufficient abilities in a particular field. in the example of a sushi chef - you work on rice until you are kick ass at rice. rice is one of the fundamentals of sushi. the idea is you train in all the necessary fundamentals and then you become...

  19. Agreed ๐Ÿค That track and Primary are classics. The rest is a bit tricky, though definitely a worthwhile (but definitely sad) listen. Actually listening to Funeral Party now because I had to double check which track it was. Tune.

  29. my go-to meal for the last week or so: take a pound of raw ground beef & spread it out on a plate. season it, set it aside. dice up some bacon, mushrooms, onions, and a banana (the banana is key), and fry lightly in butter. add in cheese curds at last minute just so they get kinda warm. pour all this onto the raw beef & set aside. fry up some eggs and then add that onto the beef as well. eat with chopsticks. the banana is the real moneymaker here

  31. The label is based in Japan and shipping costs from there are very expensive now, at least internationally. Boomkat will almost certainly be cheaper/less hassle.

  32. Ghost in the Shell (1995) (the anime movie) "A cyborg policewoman and her partner hunt a mysterious and powerful hacker called the Puppet Master." One of my all time favorite anime movies. I love it. I always forget that the Story actually has some quite complex elements you can easily miss. Also has some quite interesting ideas about artificial life, memory, evolution and the meaning of being alive. Might not be suitable for young children: contains some nudity. Has some great music. OST by Kenji Kawai. Also has some great atmospheric images of the city, a bit like Blade Runner: Some stills: Going to watch the anime series and the...

  33. Still working on my puzzlebook - now I've changed up all the artwork, so it's directly tied to the iconography of the puzzles themselves. It is coming together nicely I think.

  34. Yeah, this is tough, almost unfair to ask. haha ...but if I were forced to choose I'd choose the PLUS release. I think mostly because iIt's the closest in sound to elseq/nts/ae_live and that's where I am still at, since 2016 or so. :)
