when i go to my own profile trying to find an old thread i started, (Home > Activity > Content I Started), it doesn't load past like 15 threads....looks to be for threads that have had activity in them within the last year.
also it seems that 'archived' threads are not even searchable within the site itself? is that expected/desired behavior? going to google and searching the domain can surface the archived bits still, at least. what's the criteria for a thread getting archived? i think some of this was discussed before but i don't remember exacts.
Yeah, supposedly for search performance for large sites (so says the forum software maker)

Some topics in which I've posted no longer have the "star" symbol next to their title, the star which indicates it is a thread in which I have posted.
Not all topics are like this, only some (examples are "2020 election thread" and "how does the world view America" thread), while others behave as expected.
In the default WATMM Classic skin, or another skin on the site?

Their kids must be in their early 30's by now so can't use that as an excuse anymore
You're assuming they only had one set of kids (this is commune/cult after all - just kidding!)

11 years since their last album
How did WARP even allow this to happen
WARP has little to no control over artist release schedules (looking at you, Mr. James)

Did lots of posts disappear or something? The front page has gone from 2M+ posts to 660k lol
I will look into this...
It might be an error with the add-in that displays that info - they are depreciating add-ins so some features may go away as they become incompatible with the forum software updates.

89 interviews, what?!? i thought the brothers were like super mysterious & no one has ever seen them in the daylight or someshit.
"interviews" =/ actually speaking with Mike and Marcus versus writing about their music...

How does a 2005 interview point to a release in 2024?

Next to PIC’s crystal clear high quality ATP-06 upload, the new copyright strike sightings on YouTube against R35TT and the other tapes, there’s also the following: the Hell Interface Facebook page has been deleted or set to private on August 1st.
PIC's upload - nice he did that, nice the band told him he could.
Copyright strikes - BOC social media team has something new to do to protect BOC's IP...
Hell Interface Facebook - Now that is odd, since Hell Interface is the PERFECT replacement name for Facebook...
...still doesn't mean anything is near to/going to happen. And again, I would love to be 100% wrong (eventually).

My first 7" was something by (I think) The Clash. I bought it from Luton and Dunstable hospital fête because I liked the sleeve. However, I left it (and a football) with my shoes while I went on the bouncy castle. Afterwards, the record (and the football) were gone. My shoes were thankfully not stolen. I was probably about 7.
My first 12" single purchase was "OK Fred" by Errol Dunkley. I paid 20p at a Bring 'n Buy sale at my infant school. I was probably about 7.
It was some years before I could afford to buy my first brand new album which was "Strictly Business" by EPMD. I still listen to it pretty regulalrly. It's one of the best hip hop records of all time. I would've been 15 by then.
I had only really bought albums on tape before that. No idea what my first tape purchase was. Probably one of the earlier StreetSounds Electro comps when I was about 10 or 11?
I now have the vinyl version framed on the wall in my living room.
I don't think I bought a brand new CD until at least 2001. It was either Drukqs, or Wasted Sunday by Ovuca whichever came out first. I have since lost the Drukqs CD.
I was 28 by then.
Ah, OMD's Dazzle Ships - one of my favourites

I actually got into music buying kinda late.. my first music purchase (cassette) was Suzanne Vega's 'Blood Makes Noise' single from Tower Records.
First vinyl record I owned was Xylem Tube (Aphex Twin), and first CD was Violator by Depeche Mode.

Dunno why you facepalmed that @Joyrex, the request is made in earnest. One of the cringiest posters on this site is a mod and floods the boards with absolute garbage 24/7. Because of the inability to put mods on ignore we are all subjected to this, where with any other user we could just block it out. The option should be there.
Okay, since you decided to put this out here in public, which Mod is it?
Regardless of your opinions about what you consider 'cringy' and 'garbage', Moderators have to be able to do their job, and being able to ignore them kinda defeats that purpose, no?

Well, to be fair, there's far more activity there around the band than here, so that makes sense.

You know what I'd really be chuffed with?
BOC Maxima - a proper, official release akin to Twoism. Arguably Boards' best work and yes, MHTRTC is the result of that, but Maxima is so special, so... perfect in its arrangement.
