I think based on the complexity of the vinyl packaging is why this is so expensive... Aphex has always done some elaborate packaging: Universal Indicator Green (12",10",7" green vinyl in a poly bag) Caustic Window/Joyrex EPs SAW II (brown vinyl and 3xLP) DrukQs (deluxe vinyl box was AMAZING) SYRO (deluxe version was incredible) -
Sounds like the opening bars of Twoism slowed down... faek I really, really, hate when artists do this - the same thing happened with TR/ST where some other artist with the same name now gets comingled with the real artists works. If your stuff can't stand on it's own, then git gud. LOL, watch it is legit and everyone will instantly love it

Honestly, music is so subjective and interpretive, it's really hard to say if an artist has "done their best" on any of their works... from the artist's perspective, they released something they like and are proud of (one would hope) and whether or not us, the fans/public like it is a whole other matter. -

I think insane physical prices is the direct result of music being essentially free via streaming these days... I was in a record shop the other day and couldn't believe Depeche Mode's latest LP on vinyl was 45.00 USD... -
