  1. Still bangs every time. Supplements well when working out or driving or when feeling pissed off.
  2. Haha I hadn't noticed that. "Heh, cheeky lad" "Ohp, they're angry, silly, silly me".
  3. Not as instant-hitting for me yet, there are elements I like in Ghettoville especially in the 2nd half. The track 'Image' feels like it's gonna break into a Matthew Wilder song. I think I've ruined it haha: I'm gonna keep on moving with this record though!
  4. This is amazing! Let me start off by saying Chiastic Slide is my favourite album of yours, the whole style on that album appeals tewe me loads. As hip hop is one of the genre's you guys dig, do you have a favourite producer(s)? Also; Growing up with early era/'golden age' hip hop, did you ever feel inspired to make music like like the producers of those times; samples, dusty drums et al. Have you ever messed around with a Roland SP202/303 Have you heard of Madlib?
  5. I went to ComicCon on the weekend and picked up the first 2 volumes of Superior Spiderman and Thor: God Butcher & Thor: Godbomb. The artwork in the Thor comics are awesome. I wanted a solid Thor arc I could follow and these were suggested. I've still got my AvX comics to read from the last comiccon + I have a few comics involving Thanos and that side of Cosmic Marvel which looks interesting. Hard to fit all of this in!

  7. Ampexian seems to get a sound applause on here surprisngly but I remember the majority of P73 listeners to be disappointed with it. I'd say it's up there with OWE and VS+UN personally. The short track structures catch my attention, skipping from one idea to the next. Speaking of Prefuse 73 instantly makes me think of Dimlite, and vice-versa. Although i'd toe Dimlite just ahead in terms of personal listening choice.
  8. lol. Well The Arse are well rumoured to switch kit sponsor's from Nike to Puma. Don't know how I feel about that, but it's not like Nike have done Arsenal a service over the last few years anyway. The Dortmund Puma kit looks nice, I just don't want phat pooma's over an Arsenal kit is all.
  9. I got love for the GRRL TRRBL/Biorepo track placement. The transition is immense.
  10. bladelores is noice, 12 mins of head bobbing. Just going through my first listen and it's been incredible thus far.
  11. Just watched the first episode tonight (with the 2nd recorded for tomorrow). They packed in alot of crazy stuff into one episode. Felt like I needed 10 minutes to gather what happened afterwards. The eyes! THE EYES!
  12. A depressing although very informative thread. I'm 23 (24 next month), I'm 6+ months into my first serious relationship for sometime. We talk frequently about the 'big steps' in life (careers, property, kids). As you do. I feel like we're going to be together for a longtime if that makes sense. Although, I did question my thinking after she invited me to go and see Olly fucking Murs, Michael Buble and Greenday. I'm gently easing her into 'good music' (SAW II/The Campfire Headphase for sexy time/sleep/snuggles..) so I'm working on that. Anyway, my worry is that I always think too far ahead. I mean, it has it's benefits, I save money well and put it aside for things I need, time management and general planning. However, by 30 I wanted to be experienced in a career I enjoy and from there on I'd have the right structure to build a family on. I'm a carpenter/joiner or was, I think, wannabe teacher at some point? (Winter always is tough and I plan on going back into education to become a teacher). The building trade sucks, I can't fulfil what I want in my career here in England. Maybe watching too much Norm on The New Yankee Workshop has tainted my way of thinking in regards to woodwork but it's just not like that here in England, London especially. I was thinking of maybe moving to Canada where carpentry actually involves using natural woods rather than removing someone's piss stained toilet boxing-in. Like building houses or something. My main worry is that I haven't got off to the best of starts in my career and time is ticking. I've got some experience but I wouldn't say I'm competent enough to carry out certain jobs. I worry that by 30 I still might be in the same situation, no solid career path and if the teaching thing fails, I'm sat on my arse again, with little worth in the bank and the pressure of fulfilling my way of thinking, huge. My futureproof plan if everything fails is to drop everything, flee to China and give my life to the Shaolin Monastery. To cleanse this filthy western bod. Maybe I worry too much, so I'm not sure if this fits into this thread particularly. I'm sorry in advance. I guess it could be seen as a pre-midlife crisis. Perhaps?
  13. My first job also had horrible public transportation options for getting there. Before I got mydriver's license, I got up 5am every morning, and was home 7pm everyday. Worst year of my life. Waiting hours at the bus-stop in winter time was a fucking bitch *whine whine* Props for staying in it for a year, I don't know if I can last a week, haha! I got up at 5am, left at 5:30, got to work 10 mins late (7:10am) and I got back at 18:00. The work is a graft too, on my feet all day, physical and mental work with a damn 30 minute lunch break. By the time I went up the road and got a sandwich, texted people, I had 5 minutes to stuff half my lunch in me I don't know how to feel about this, apart from feeling knackered, is this considered normal for everyone else? I don't want to leave with the knowledge that I might just be a lazy arse. 6 days a week I might add.
  14. I have to use public transportation in order to get to my new job. A car journey there takes 25 minutes, it now takes just over and hour. London and it's parking situation is laaame.
