  1. Reasons why capitalism bad: 1. twitter threads (c) Arthur Schopenhauer. Isn't the discussion about economics though? "Economics really just feels like a game of tag but for adults". Still works! Merci monsieur, see lads: capitalism is not evil because it found a way to disguise its devastation to the desiring machines like us. The enemy of humanité? Not a big deal. Anyway, it's so powerful it doesn't care about your twitter threads.

    X4

A solid case for that (probably top three in my book), but I regard M4 Lema as such

    PEN EXPERS

I recall Sean Anthony attributing that track to DMX drum machine hacked (not his exact word) in some way. Can't find the exact quote. I won't find it either, but there was an old Max/MSP forum discussion on Autechre methods circa Confield and Sean Anthony came there pissed and wrote something along the lines of "does it really matter which type of pen was used to write a suicide note". So it may be a jab at those who loved to attribute their sound to particular programming environment. Maybe a coincidence!

Well, the Taliban took Afghanistan the day before (so, free pussy and shots been fired)
  5. That's a promising taster. (Probably better to cut it to a whole new thread if admin's reading)

What should have happened? The guy turned 50 (L in Roman numeration), that's the story. Why the fook should he celebrate it like he's some low taste pop primadonna. I haven't even heard of birthday dates of any other subforum artists.
  7. Forgot to comment that bonus tracks are as good as the main ones, a bit weirder and I may even prefer them for that. Thanks again
  8. A very nice release on a consistently intriguing label, congrats (I bought it). Boomkat just lists anything it also sells almost at random.
  9. Thanks for sharing with such specificity, I also approve the Hildegard reference in the title of the last track (you should check her stuff if you haven't, I like ensemble Sequentia takes on her)
  10. Fooking XL Recordings, that's who, can't give plebs da full run There's a full one on boomkat: https://boomkat.com/products/still-slipping-vol-1 Kinda solid, but
  11. Yeah thanks nice find, adding to da watchlist for sure Gotta comment on that previous one...
  12. Non-ordinary jumpy style, reminiscent of early Telefon Tel Aviv I would say, with all the sharp toned-up micro-samples and transparent melodies
  13. All this talk about varied stuff etc is often leads to some super-cheesy acoustic drab like rock & jazz & 80s synth rehash or something similarly decrepit. The truth is music history (and arguably culture at large) has stopped some time around the millenium turn, being masked as "genre-blending", post-meta-deconstructed-assfuck lingo. New & upcoming releases is alright, there's enough non-subforum artists alikes there, fooking start to check it and participate

    afx nft

Mining crypto/doing school homework? These NFT-buyers are most likely suddenly rich nerds who never developed any kind of taste. They spend surplus coz crypto market is still a desert in luxury department. It's not regular people
  15. There are no proofs in this report (the full 4000 pages one) either. It just goes high confidence this, very likely that. A global bureaucracy of an organization built specifically for that task. Highly likely the solution would be: you, peasant, sit tight as we say, live in a pod, eat bugs -- and go extinct to save the planet/starving Africa/our expert asses. And if not, what's the sceptics interfere with, precisely? United fooking Nations?
  16. Yeah, it's a nightmare with a controller -- you have to pin-point the aim every time and can't stop either, coz loot. The Witcher 3 was a loot paradise in comparison, I really don't get the decision to use 1st person with such 3rd person-based mechanics. Just by dressing yourself up with loot it could become a proper entertainment. That said, in making all the cut-scenes playable they did the 1st person view justice, i think it was next-level immersive indeed -- a way out of cut-scenes mayhem that is happening in big games (Death Stranding finished as a literal movie). The rest of the game just don't mix well.
  17. I'm waiting for DLCs to drop to try to replay. It was pretty solid for me on PC (low-to-average build, 2019 graphics card) already in December after the initial patches. The only serious issue I had was FPS drop in intense city areas that wouldn't recover by itself.
  18. I would add that the price is set for the whole world, and in a lot of countries that's far from an equivalent of coffee/cigarettes like it's usually presented in discussions. The cost of producing a track is suped muddy subject, one notable standard is what streaming services pay per 1 listen -- you don't own the stuff offline, but that's the most common & convenient way of consuming digital releases currently -- and this pay is, like, less than a cent, making it three hundred plays for a dollar reward. Thus, when selling tracks 2 euro per unit like Hawtin does here (when the established practice is around 1 euro), you punish fans for finding a way to reward you more directly. Not saying it isn't worth it, yet it's perfectly normal to stop at such prices.
  19. That's not the full quote. >Richard D James is the alpha male of electronica, a sinewave surfer and synthesiser symbiant, as likely to set up his FX under the polythene peaks of a well appointed Wendy house as choreograph the flexing of a bunch of fully pumped female bodybuilders whose muscle profiles suggested they'd changed their order from cheesecake to beefcake. Which is basically the equivalent of >ЯIᄃΉΛЯD D JΛMΣƧ IƧ ƬΉΣ ΛᄂPΉΛ MΛᄂΣ ӨF ΣᄂΣᄃƬЯӨПIᄃΛ, Λ ƧIПΣЩΛVΣ ƧЦЯFΣЯ ΛПD ƧYПƬΉΣƧIƧΣЯ ƧYMBIΛПƬ, ΛƧ ᄂIKΣᄂY ƬӨ ƧΣƬ ЦP ΉIƧ FX ЦПDΣЯ ƬΉΣ PӨᄂYƬΉΣПΣ PΣΛKƧ ӨF Λ ЩΣᄂᄂ ΛPPӨIПƬΣD ЩΣПDY ΉӨЦƧΣ ΛƧ ᄃΉӨЯΣӨGЯΛPΉ ƬΉΣ FᄂΣXIПG ӨF Λ BЦПᄃΉ ӨF FЦᄂᄂY PЦMPΣD FΣMΛᄂΣ BӨDYBЦIᄂDΣЯƧ ЩΉӨƧΣ MЦƧᄃᄂΣ PЯӨFIᄂΣƧ ƧЦGGΣƧƬΣD ƬΉΣY'D ᄃΉΛПGΣD ƬΉΣIЯ ӨЯDΣЯ FЯӨM ᄃΉΣΣƧΣᄃΛKΣ ƬӨ BΣΣFᄃΛKΣ
  20. Thanks for making a tracklist, got hooked on the track Simulacra in particular, would not have found it otherwise
  21. You (or dat redditor) talk like it's a bad thing. There's a shitload of Commies out there (and probably here) and they're nice people overall despite Commies being sickening bloodsuckers historically. There's no such thing as Judeo-Christian culture, it's two separate cultures that had a lot of co-living with a lot of struggle. There's nothing bad in prefering certain cultures, especially your own, the moment you stop doing it that culture starts to deteriote which we see currently. Calling everyone slightly conservative a Nazi is a part of that suicidal tendency. That's a bit jumpy argument, to be fair. Also I don't personally feel the "salivates" bit, I mean does he? Is he also jerking off to it? Lubricates it with saliva first? What does he do next with it? You can't talk with those people, there's a Gulag for that! By the way, did you know that Gulag was installed and administered by Jews all the way thru the beautiful 1937-1938 purge of millions of innocent people? Nothing to do with ethnicity, in fact! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulag#Gulag_administrators He gotta have a brand to sell. But yeah, all those trannies from Twitter with hammer and sickle and quite aт innumerable bunch of openly Marxist "no borders, no genders" activists have nothing to do with culture or Bolshevism, it was just a coincidence that Bolsheviks pursued identical policy after the Revolution. Apocalyptic meat/apple induced fever dreams! That's poetic. Well, that's a good point, if you think about it. So it's not only a Hitler thing, but a more general Nazi trait? I think he just wants to fuck Stalin and compensates for it. Isn't Stalinism a much lesser enemy to a Nazi than Bolsheviks though? In art they actually have a lot in common. Josephaila? Gorbachev was too much of a cretin to topple anything. They sorta worked for hundreds of years before fascism, but OK, this longing is a Nazi trait. And Cultural Bolshevism is a conspiracy. Hmm. What's wrong with that absolutely healthy view? It's not like any other civilizations are run by more than one race. So whites are like 11% of the world population and their countries should host all the coloured folks and be replaced by them even if some countries didn't mess with them at all ever. In the desired end whites would be the only ones on the planet not running anything, because colonisation was a common sin. Everyone has their kinks. They're deviant by definition. Not for long, of course! Again, his obsession clearly masks a sexual tension. It's all unarguably untrue. Proven by science! Yeah, what a monster, masking oppression by biology! I mean look at women's reproductive system, we have abortion for that. Fair enough, still much less than any significant BLM, LGBT-nity, pro-migration, anti-hatespeech funds and the like get from our corpo overlords. Indeed, a stupid hater. I like anal sex, too. Eh, it kinda repeats the previous points. Is this for a stronger effect? Like he's definitely a Nazi by this point! Yet there's more! Suicide is a sort of apocalypse, i guess. Frankly, he kinda makes it seem cool. You can never defend Jews enough, I know! https://www.jordanbpeterson.com/psychology/on-the-so-called-jewish-question/ Far-rights love him: https://voxday.blogspot.com/2018/04/the-myth-of-jordan-petersons-integrity.html Well, Jews control most of the media and the money. Maybe they're just that good. Ohhhh, those Nazies with their cancelling! Someone gotta stop the fuckers! Attacking intellectuals is bad, I agree. The key is not to misuse SCIENCE! Disgusting! Myths??? What in the fuckk Eco won't tell no bullshit, he's an expert. Indeed, they're creepy. Gay.
  22. (if you insist on appreciating) I dunno, it strives for this very common, watered down kind of beauty
