  1. A few big Hip-Hop album releases dropped today - enjoy them this weekend! Homeboy Sandman and Deca https://homeboysandman.bandcamp.com/album/still-champion Illogic https://illogic.bandcamp.com/album/the-transition Dope KNife https://dopeknife.bandcamp.com/album/the-dope-one
  2. "Manifest". Premise - a plane disappears full of passengers and winds up back 5 years later and nobody aged one day. Nothing really super original about the show but it's not a bad watch. Besides some occasional corny dialogue it's kept me on the edge of my seat at times. Also it doesn't hurt that I find the lead chick to be stunningly gorgeous.
  3. If you are a fan of MF DOOM, Monsta Island Czars, King Geedorah, etc.... GET ON THIS! Honestly one of the best underground albums i've heard in years. https://xraydamindbenda.bandcamp.com/album/varon-the-unbelievable My fav tracks "Medicinal", "It's Alive", "Ron Van Clief". Probably going to be bumping these for a long time.
  4. Hah, I always laugh when i think about the amount of people after a long hard day's work go home, turn their tv on, and then watch other people work.
  5. Definitely. I'd start with 'When Planets Explode' first. Then 'Joined Ends' as far as albums. EPs go 'Trilingual Dance Sexsperience', and 'Her Tears Taste like Pears'. Lastly, his remixes are fucking insane. Peep- Draw (Dorian Concept Remix) The Light (Dorian Concept Remix) The Flu (Dorian Concept Rmx)
  6. Holy Fukk. The last two episode of Andor literally nothing happens. No plot progression. Nothing. You have to be a crazy Star Wars fan to put up with this show. Or love boring ass dramas that take a whole season for something to happen.
  7. The new Dorian Concept album "What We Do For Others". I've been patiently waiting a long time for some new work from him. He's one of my all-time favorite musicians and artists. Sadly, I do not like ONE TRACK on the new album. Not one. I think the reason why is he departed from his more organic side, the soul / jazz / funk backbone to his music. Sure his older music did get very electronic, but there was always some soulful vibes and chords to it. This is all just very generic and metallic sounding, with rather unappealing chipmunk-like vocalizations going on in almost every track.
  8. Man it really sucks when one of your favorite artists drops an album finally and you hate every track on it.

  9. Binging "The Last Kingdom". Before I couldn't get past the first couple episodes but this time I soldiered on through it. It's pretty good. Definitely is helping me kill time right now. Nothing mind blowing or anything but it's watchable and some of the characters grow on you. Just starting "The Peripheral". New Sci Fi show on Amazon Prime. I will check back in with my thoughts.
  10. Burial put me to sleep bruv

  11. New Awon album has some mfckin bangers.
  12. This Michael Mcdonald 80s soft-rock thing is not my style. After quick preview of tracks I think only 2 or 3 of them are listenable for me, aka vintage bibio sounding stuff that is located near the end of the album. EG: Sanctimonious Song, Phonograph.
  13. Even if ROP, HOD and Andor are all kind of messes, I don't mind it. Special time being a nerd right now with all these coming out at the same time. I'm usually scrolling for hours trying to find something, maybe some hidden Sci Fi or Fantasy that passed me by, but at this moment no need to. The geek inside of me is very happy.
  14. Man the last episode of House of Dragons was actually pretty awesome. Reminded me that it is far superior in acting and production quality than Ring of Power. It takes an army of orcs and intense battles to keep me interested in RoP, while House of Dragons one King kept me on the edge of my seat the whole episode.
  15. New single 'Potion' dropped today.
  16. This ever going to get put on Spotify? (Hoping)
  17. Everything is suppose to be extremely ambiguous. Nobody really knows what's going and who is actually who, so you are not alone. Honestly the last episode I freaking loved, so I don't care either way - excited to see if the remaining episodes are as good. As far as Galadriel I really really dislike the casting. They honestly could've dressed up a piece of drift-wood and CGI'd a mouth on it and it would've given a better acting performance than her. Luckily there are some other good actors / characters so I just focus my attention on them.
  18. So I finally got a new job, well a verbal job offer.  Wait a week like they said for the actual contract.  Then they say they are going to send the job offer today.  Get a text saying "sorry we are on a hiring freeze and cannot hire you now".  Motherfuckers.  Back to square one.  ?

  19. Does anyone else feel weird about the constant dramatizations, rhetoric, and glorification of Dahmer? Part of me just feels that it could give the extra push a sadistic psychopath could need to go on their own killing spree. Knowing they will forever be canonized in pop culture if they are sick and twisted enough. It's one thing to be mentioned in history books and a serial killer series, but another to have TV shows / Movies / Books / Comics written about you every year. (P.S. I think people might have made this argument with Ted Bundy in the recent Zac Efron movie, but for some reason this is never brought up for Dahmer)
  20. New episode 4 of Andor. I'm starting to sense a pattern here. Extremely boring set-up / filler episodes before you see any kind of conflict or action. Not horrible or anything but nothing to ring home about - you may end up scrolling through your phone or WATMM.
  21. Yea agreed. This episode kept me more interested - i did enjoy it. But the amount of cringe scenes in this show is hard to ignore.
  22. Track that I made almost 10 years ago now, noticed it wasn't on Youtube so threw it on.  Not gonna lie, it's kind of a jam.

  23. Andor. Agree it's a slow burn to start, the first two episodes dragged - but in the end I didn't mind it. Gave you some time to learn about the ecosystem these characters live in, their motivations, their backgrounds. Really laid some great groundwork. Then EP3 came and that was really good - worth the wait. I do get some Mandalorian vibes in how it's a real gritty form of Star Wars. Underworld stuff, not always pleasant. The only thing I don't really love with all of these prequels and such is that what the hell is the point if we already know what's going to happen. There's far more interesting material to get into in the Star Wars Universe rather than just filling out the story that we already know. Regardless, i'm on board. Excited to see where it goes.
