  4. I was listening to interstate last night while on a loongg bike ride home, mega-nice minimal magic. Listening to it again now on my speakers, I felt the album was better through headphones.
  5. I have a Sansa Clip +, it has 8gb of internal memory and I use a 32GB micro SD with it that once belonged to my smart phone. It's smaller than a match box and it's great for running/ exercising. Also it plays FLAC, MP3, WAV etc..
  6. Only listened to Deepchord presents Echospace's Liumin, disc two was bangin'. Looking forward to getting around to this.. eventually.
  7. DEunt furgot Straya Glob n Shean!
  8. This album has just been one big ass blast from the past.
  9. I don't think anything in his discography compares to Riverman. Three Hours this is great though and comes right after Riverman on Five Leaves Left.
  10. Can anyone recommend some jazz tracks that showcase the flute? Been listening to these two muchly.. Not sure they'd qualify as jazz but they're baggin' anyhow.
  11. That's great Godwin, I'd never heard that before. Jackson C. Frank is also someone to check out, Drake covered numerous tracks of his, not as lucid as Drake but great his own right.

    Now Reading

Blood Meridian is definitely one of the best books I've ever read, I read it when I was maybe 15 or 16 at which point I'd never experienced something so intense, dark and beautiful through literature. I've since read most of McCarthy's catalog, probably my favourite being The Outer Dark. Currently reading this by him; an ex con living on a house boat befriends a homeless teenager who fucks watermelons.
  13. Also Battles are the scrappy banditos what turned me onto Warp.
  14. Older but I've just sold this guy for an amount I'm pleased with!
  15. I've always liked the bridge of the nose and temple and I get a lot of satisfaction from looking at the line work of those elements of the face in this work, well done. Drawing facial lines and getting lost in miniscule detail you'd never see replicated in a photograph are also pleasurable.
  16. if and when it comes, this definitely needs to be the cover of Aphex's new album. Baha thanks, well spotted! I've heard he's feverishly been making music since Drukqs but doesn't want to release new material besides the billion Analords because he's a gronk. Managed to see him last year in Sydney, must say that was the best concert I've been to.
